Objective: To explore the correlation between anthropometric data, preoperative ultrasonic measurement of hamstring tendons and final graft diameter of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Methods: A prospective study of 38 patients with unilateral anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction in our hospital from September,2017 to January,2019 was performed. The patient's gender, age, height, weight and body mass index were recorded before surgery. The semitendinosus tendon and the gracilis tendon were measured and recorded, and then the ipsilateral semitendinosus and gracilis tendon were transplanted. The anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction was performed. The final graft diameter was determined intraoperatively using a standard graft measurement tool.Analyze the data obtained. Results: The mean age, height, weight and body mass index of the patients were(31.53 ±8.35)years,(172.89 ±8.31)cm,(72.83 ±11.12 kg)and(24.33 ±3.04)kg/m 2,respectively.The mean semitendinosus tendon diameter(STd),gracilis tendon diameter(GTd),sum of semitendinousus tendon diameter and gracilis tendon diameter(STd+GTd)and final graft diameter were(4.6±0.4)mm,(4.0±0.4)mm,(8.6±0.9)mm and(7.9±0.8)mm,respectively.There was no significant correlation between age, weight, body mass index and final graft diameter(P=0.733,0.220,0.707,respectively).There was a significant correlation between height and final graft diameter(r =0.371,P =0.022).There was a significant correlation between STd measured by ultrasound and final graft diameter(r =0.610,P <0.01).There was a significant correlation between GTd measured by ultrasound and final graft diameter(r =0.586,P <0.01).There was a significant correlation between STd±GTd measured by ultrasound and final graft diameter(r =0.600,P <0.01).Conclusion: Height showed a weak correlation with FGd,preoperative ultrasonic measurements of hamstring tendon had a moderate to strong correlation with FGd.
