Systematic Review Of Buyanghuanwu Decoction For Post-Stroke Depression

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of buyang huanwu decoction in the treatment of poststroke depression.Method: The computer retrieval the Cochrane Library,EMbase,Pub Med,Chinese biomedical literature database(CBM),Chinese journal full-text database(VIP)of science and technology,China journal full-text database(CNKI)and ten thousand data online knowledge service platform,fill into Yang also five tonga subtraction randomized controlled trials for the treatment of depression after stroke and half a randomized controlled trial,according to the Cochrane Reviewer 's faced 5.1.0 assessment standards and tools included in the research on methodology of quality evaluation,The Rev Man 5.3 software was used for statistical analysis.Results: A total of 21 randomized controlled trials with 1767 patients were included.All the 21 studies mentioned random distribution but did not describe the random distribution method.All the studies did not mention allocation concealment,blindness and loss of follow-up.Meta-analysis results showed that,compared with the conventional treatment group,buyang huanwu decoction plus OR without decoction in the treatment of dysphagia after stroke was better than the conventional treatment group in terms of the improvement rate obtained according to the Hamilton depression scale score [OR=3.43,95%ci(1.94,6.04)].No adverse reactions were reported in any of the 21 included studies.Conclusion: Compared with the conventional treatment group,the treatment group of buyang huanwu decoction was superior to the conventional treatment group in the increasing rate of poststroke depression according to the Hamilton depression scale score.However,due to the small number of Chinese literatures included in this study and the low quality of evidence evaluation,more rigorous randomized controlled trials need to be designed to provide advanced evidence.
