Objective:To explore the clinical effect of rehabilitation robotic hand therapy on the recovery of hand function in patients with cerebral apoplexy at different stages of paralysis.Methods:80 patients with Brunnstorm I(paralysis)after stroke were divided into acute stage(less than 1 month of onset)and convalescent stage(1-6 months of onset). Each stage was randomly divided into control group(routine treatment group)and experimental group(robotic hand group)with 20 cases in each.Brunnstorm stage,Fugl-Meyer upper limb motor function(FMA)and Barthel index(BI)were used to evaluate the hand function recovery at 2 and 4 weeks.RESULTS: In the acute and convalescent period, the FMA and BI evaluation results of the two groups improved with the prolongation of treatment time, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in Brunnstorm stage effectiveness between the two groups(P>0.05),but there was significant difference in Brunnstorm stage effectiveness between the robotic hand group at 4 weeks(P<0.05),FMA and BI scores at 2 and 4 weeks(P<0.05);and there was significant difference in Brunnstorm stage effectiveness and FMA in convalescent patients at 2 and 4 weeks(P<0.05);and there was significant difference in Brunnstorm stage effectiveness between convalescent patients at 2 and 4 weeks(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in BI score(P> 0.05).CONCLUSION: Rehabilitation robotic hand therapy and routine therapy can promote the improvement of hand function and activities of daily life in patients to varying degrees, but the improvement of hand function in patients with acute stage by robotic hand is better than that of routine group.
