The Long-term Clinical Research About The Treatment Of Calcaneal Fractures Between Manipulative Reduction Prying And Open Internal Fixation

Purpose To compare the conclusion of two different methods between Manipulative Reduction Prying and Open Internal Fixation in treating Sanders ? and ? type calcaneal fracture,analyzing the long-term efficacy in the different two treatments.Methods A total of 40 clinical cases were collected from Suzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2011 to April 2013.And the cases were divided into the Manipulative Reduction Prying group(group A)and the Open internal fixation group(group B).The Raw data,the Imaging data,and the Maryland score were used to compare the Bohler angles,Gissane angle,Maryland score and the Total hospitalization costs to compare the long-term results of the treating of Sanders type II and III calcaneal fractures with the two different treatments between Manipulative Reduction Prying and Open Internal Fixation.Results According to the results of case follow-up,combined with the original case data,the total hospitalization costst and the Maryland score of the foot function,there was no statistically significant difference in long-term efficacy(P>0.05)between the group Manipulative Reduction Prying(group A)and the group Open Internal Fixation(group B).The Comparison of curative effect between two groups as:(1)Bohler angle:A:34.35±6.25,B:32.40±7.82.(P>0.05).(2)Gissane angle:A:13 1.65±9.16,B:127.40±9.21.(P>0.05).(3)Maryland score:A:87.80±6.03,B:85.50±6.91.(P>0.05).(4)Fineness ratios:A:95%,B:85%.The total hospitalization costst:A:13482.30±1444.37 yuan,B:5714.35±403.75 yuan.In the two groups,there are 4 people have the complications in group B about infected surgical incision.And there is 1 person in group A about postoperative pain.Conclusion By comparing the results of the analysis,methods between Manipulative Reduction Prying and Open Internal Fixation can achieve satisfactory clinical results in the Sanders II and? calcaneal fractures in long-term Clinical Research.And the Manipulative Reduction Prying has the relative advantages of small incision,fast recovery,fewer complications and low cost.
