| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Weiguikang decoction for cervical Spondylotic myelopathy(CSM)in recovery of spinal cord function after operation,and to explore its clinical value,so as to provide basis for the study of TCM clinical treatment of CSM after operation.To explore the mechanism and methods of promoting the rehabilitation of spinal cord function after operation of cervical Spondylotic myelopathy with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:A total of 60 cases were collected from January 2017 to October2018 in the spinal surgery ward of Ruikang Hospital affiliated to Guangxi University of traditional Chinese Medicine.The patient was diagnosed as CSM and underwent anterior cervical surgery.Sixty patients were randomly divided into observation group(n=30)and control group(n=30)according to the order of treatment.After the operation,the patients in the observation group were treated with routine rehabilitation combined with oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine decoration,while those in the control group were treated with routine rehabilitation therapy alone,1 weeks as a course of treatment,and 4 weeks as the treatment.The JOA score(17分),Spinal cord functional status score(40 points),clinical curative effect and adverse reaction of the two groups were recorded before operation and 1 day,1 weeks,2 weeks and 4 weeks after operation.The experimental data were processed by SPSS19.0 statistical software.Results:1.There was no significant difference in age,sex,course of disease,preoperative JOA score(17分)and preoperative Spinal cord functional status score(40 points)between the two groups.2.JOA scores(17分):in the two groups,the JOA functional recovery scores were continuously improved in the 1~stt day,1 weeks,2 weeks and 4 weeks after operation,and there were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).The results indicated that both groups could promote the recovery of spinal cord function after operation.Within 1 weeks after operation,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the short-term postoperative treatment in the two groups was not comparable,and the observation group did not show its superiority.2 weeks,4 weeks after surgery,the two groups by statistical comparison test P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,comparable,indicating that the observation group in postoperative spinal cord function improvement effect is better.3.Spinal cord functional status score(40 points):the spinal cord function score of the two groups were alleviated gradually in the 1~stt day,2 weeks,and 4 weeks after operation,and there were significant differences in the two groups(P<0.05).Two groups of treatment can promote the relief of pain symptoms.Within 1weeks after operation,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the short-term postoperative treatment in the two groups was not comparable,and the observation group did not show its superiority.After 2 weeks,4 weeks,the two groups by statistical comparison test P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,comparable,indicating that the observation group in spinal cord function score improvement effect is better.4.The clinical effective rate:the observation group showed no dominance,P>0.05,and the difference was not statistically significant.The results showed that traditional Chinese medicine decoction combined with conventional treatment failed to improve the clinical efficiency within 4weeks.5.Side effects:Some of the patients in the observation group and the control group had adverse reactions during the treatment.Conclusions:According to the statistical analysis of the two groups before and after treatment,traditional Chinese medicine decoction combined with routine treatment after CSM can significantly improve the recovery of spinal cord function,can improve numbness,cold distension,tight bundle,heavy and other symptoms,and improve the surgical efficacy.It is worth popularizing and applying clinically to improve the quality of life of patients. |
