Objective:Stage ? non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)represents a heterogeneous group of diseases.Accord-ing to National Comprehensive Cancer Network(NCCN),Multidisciplinary team as an optimal treatment for stage ? NSCLC,individualized treatment,as well as,is empha-sized.The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of MDT for stage ? NSCLC.Methods: 594 cases with Stag-e ? NSCLC,defined as non-MDT group, have complete-d follow-up were received in The third affiliated clinic-al hospital Xinjiang Medical University. They are divide-d into two subgroups by whether follow the advice of MDT,analyzing the enumeration data by Chi-Square test.Kaplan-Meier Survival method was used to calculate the Overall Survival(OS)and Progression-free Survival(PFS),draw to the survival curves.A P values less than 0.05 was evaluated as statistically significance.198 cases wit-h stage ? NSCLC,defined as non-MDT group, from 2010-2011 before establishment of MDT.Compared the consistence of clinical-pathology TNM?l-ength of stay?satisfaction of patients and so on.Results:There was a significant difference between two subgr-oups with median OS and median PFS,28.0m vs 24.0m(P<0.05),7.0 m vs 6.0 m(P< 0.05)respectively;The DFS of them had no significant difference(P=0.24).Univariate and Multivariate Analysis of the factors for pr-ognosis of stage ? NSCLC showed that surgery or not? whether follow-up the advice of MDT ? histological typ-e and stage were independent risk factors effecting the prognosis(p<0.05).The consistence of clinical-patho-logy TNM showed the significant difference between MDT and non-MDT,80.11% vs 65.22%(P <0.05).The med-ian satisfaction of patients of MDT was better than non-MDT,2.68 vs 2.01(P<0.05).The length of stay between two groups had nosignificant difference. Conclusion: MDT is an optimal treatment for stage ? NSCLC.
