Objective : To investigate the impact of preoperative nutritional risk on the prognosis of patients with bladder cancer after radical cystectomy.Method : We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 142 patients with bladder cancer who underwent radical cystectomy, pathologic specimens were confirmed by pathologist after surgery,NRS(Nutritional Risk Screening,NRS2002)measurement were used to assess patients` preoperative nutritional status, all patients were categorized into two groups with respect to NRS score, there were 72 patients at nutritional risk(NRS score?3)and 70 patients without nutritional risk(NRS score < 3).Result : The 3-year overall survival rate of those at nutritional risk and of those without nutritional risk were 69.1%and 81.7%,the 10-year overall survival rate were 38.8% and 81.7%,respectively,the difference was significant(P<0.001).Univariate analysis showed that nutritional risk(P< 0.001),tumor size(P=0.005),tumor grade(WHO2004)(P=0.030),clinical stage(<0.001),hydronephrosis or no(P<0.001)were associated with survival,Cox multivariate analysis revealed that nutritional risk was independent risk factors of prognosis(HR=2.416;95%Cl:1.205-4.843;P=0.013).Conclusion: Nutritional risk is independent risk factors of poor prognosis after radical cystectomy for bladder cancer. |
