Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Osteoarthritis With Acupuncture With Electric Stimulation

Objective: to explore the effect of electroacupuncture therapy on(KOA)of knee osteoarthritis.Methods: 55 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group(electro-acupuncture treatment group)and control group(normal acupuncture group),30 patients in treatment group were treated with electroacupuncture and 2patients were lost,and the patients were randomly divided into treatment group(n = 30)and control group(n = 2).On the basis of acupuncture with electroacupuncture for 30 minutes,30 patients in the control group were treated with general acupuncture for 30 minutes,3 patients in the control group were treated with general acupuncture,and the patients in both groups were not treated in any other way after acupuncture for 30 minutes.7 days per course,2 days interval for a second course of treatment.WOMAC,is used at the end of the treatment.VAS scores and knee motion were compared with knee circumference.Results: the total effective rates of the two groups were 75% and 59.26%.After treatment,the scores of Xi'an and McMaster University osteoarthritis and visual analogue scores in both groups decreased to a certain extent compared with those before treatment.After statistical analysis,the difference was significant(P <0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups because of the change of knee joint mobility and knee circumference,and the difference between the two groups was significant(P < 0.05).Therefore,it is speculated that electro-acupuncture treatment and traditional acupuncture treatment in the improvement of the above-mentioned physical signs is equivalent.Conclusion:electroacupuncture and common acupuncture Acupuncture has better curative effect on(KOA)of knee osteoarthritis,speculate that the curativeeffect of electroacupuncture group is slightly better than that of ordinary acupuncture group,and it can improve the joint function and relieve joint stiffness of knee osteoarthritis patients.Especially,the analgesic effect was better than that of ordinary acupuncture group,and the effect of electroacupuncture on joint swelling and joint activity was similar to that of ordinary acupuncture.
