Observation On The Function Of Orthopaedic Lotion Combined With Functional Exercise After Ankle Fracture Surgery

Objective: To observe the effect of orthopaedic lotion combined with functional exercise on the function and pain swelling after ankle fracture surgery,and to provide a scientific and effective rehabilitation training method for ankle fracture surgery.Methods:Randomized controlled grouping method was used to select patients with ankle fracture who were first diagnosed during orthopaedic hospitalization in Xinjiang Autonomous Region Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2017 to January 2019 and were followed up in clinic.A total of 78 cases(39 cases in the treatment group and 39 cases in the control group)participated in the trial.Among them,9 cases lost follow-up,4cases did not complete the clinical trial.The final statistics were 67 cases,35 cases in the treatment group and 32 cases in the control group.All the patients were observed for 4weeks according to the design of the experiment.The VAS score,ankle motion(back extension,toe flexion)and swelling subsidence were observed at 0,1,2,3 and 4 weeks after suture removal.The final data were analyzed by SPSS17.0 software to determine the Result: 1.There was no significant difference in gender,age,fracture classification,left and right distribution of fractures between the two groups(P > 0.05),which indicated that the baseline of this study was consistent and comparable;2.AOFAS score of the two groups had statistical significance after treatment(P < 0.05).3.VAS score of the two groups had statistical significance after treatment(P < 0.05);4.ankle joint mobility,and back extension between the two groups had statistical significance after treatment(P <0.05).There was no significant difference in toe flexion(P > 0.05).After treatment,the ankle joint activity in the treatment group was significantly improved than that in the control group,while the toe flexion activity was not significantly improved.5.The swelling subsidence in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group.Conclusion: Early functional exercise combined with orthopaedic washing andfumigation after ankle fracture surgery can improve ankle function,relieve swelling and pain,and promote functional rehabilitation after ankle fracture surgery,which is worthy of clinical application.
