Clinical Significance Of Abdominal Spiral CT Indicating Gastric Wall Thickening

Objective: To study the clinical data of patients with gastric wall thickening by abdominal spiral CT,and to explore the clinical significance of abdominal CT for gastric wall thickening.Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted to collect 36 patients with gastric wall thickening who underwent abdominal CT examination from January 1,2016 to December 31,2016 in the Department of Gastroenterology,the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University.Among them,22 were males and 14 were females,aged 37-83 years,and endoscope was improved at the same time.Results:In benign and malignant lesions,lymph node enlargement had statistical significance between the two groups(P< 0.05),suggesting that the rate of lymph node enlargement in malignant lesions was higher than that in benign lesions(75% VS15.625%).There were no significant differences in hemoglobin,main clinical symptoms(abdominal pain,abdominal distension,black stool),thickening sites,lymph node enlargement and focal enhancement between inflammatory disease group and non-inflammatory disease group(P>0.05).There were no significant differences in main clinical symptoms(abdominal pain,abdominal distension,black stool),thickening sites,lymph node enlargement and focal enhancement between inflammatory disease group and non-inflammatory disease group(P>0.05).Conclusion:Thickening of the stomach wall is associated with a variety of diseases.CT has a high sensitivity in diagnosing the thickening of the stomach wall,strengthening and lymph node enlargement,but its specificity is poor,and it cannot rely solely on the lesion,strengthening and lymph node enlargement.To distinguish,it is still necessary to further combine the results of endoscopy and pathological examination to further confirm the diagnosis.
