BackgroundCancer-Related Fatigue(CRF)is one of the common clinical manifestations of malignant tumors,which seriously affects the quality of life of patients.Due to the diverse pathogenesis of cancer-related fatigue,the pathogenesis is complex.Therefore,there is a lack of effective treatments in the clinic.At present,relevant research and literature reports on cancer-related fatigue show that the incidence of cancer-related fatigue is quite different,and the influencing factors have not yet reached a consensus.In recent years,Chinese medicine has attracted much attention in the comprehensive treatment of tumors,and it has significant advantages in the treatment of CRF.The study found that traditional Chinese medicine preparations represented by Zhengyuan capsule have the effect of improving the fatigue of patients with malignant tumors.The related literatures have found that there is no research on the quality of life of patients with advanced malignant tumors due to fatigue.In order to further clarify the risk factors of cancer-related fatigue in the real world and the influence of Zhengyuan capsule on the quality of life of patients with advanced malignant tumor due to fatigue,it is necessary to further carry out related research.Objective1.To study the risk factors of cancer-related fatigue in the real world,and to provide a theoretical basis for exploring the cause of cancer-related fatigue.2.To evaluate the efficacy of Zhengyuan capsule on patients with advanced malignant tumor due to fatigue and observe its safety.Methods1.Select patients with malignant tumors diagnosed at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical University from November 2016 to February 2017.Questionnaires were used to analyze the gender,age and treatment(surgery,chemotherapy,radiotherapy),the impact of pain factors on cancer-induced fatigue.Statistical Methods Two-category Logistic regression was used to analyze risk factors for cancer-related fatigue.2.Screening of 72 patients with cancer-related fatigue who met the diagnostic criteria of the Department of Oncology,the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical University from March 2017 to June 2018.For all patients with cancer-related fatigue who meet the inclusion criteria,oral Zhengyuan Capsule(Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group Guangzhou Hairui Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.,Chinese Medicine Z20148001)was given 3 times a day,4 capsules each time,for a total of 4 weeks.Observed the cancer fatigue scale(CFS)before treatment,2 weeks of treatment,and 4 weeks of treatment,the European Cancer Treatment and Research Organization questionnaire(EORTC QLQ-C30),KPS score,body weight change,and corresponding blood indicators before and after medication(blood routine,liver function,kidney function)changes.The data were analyzed by SPSS21.0 software package.The data were expressed as meanąstandard deviation((?)ąs).Statistical analysis was performed by analysis of variance or paired t test.The difference was statistically significant at P?0.05.Results1.This study distributed 206 questionnaires,with a recovery rate of 100%.Among them,135 patients with cancer-induced fatigue and 71 patients with non-cancerous fatigue,the incidence of cancer-induced fatigue was 65.5%.After two-class logistic regression analysis,surgery(OR=9.065,95% CI: 2.541-32.341),chemotherapy(OR=7.090,95% CI: 2.269-22.154),radiotherapy(OR=3.433,95% CI: 1.216-9.692)is a risk factor for cancer-related fatigue.2.72 patients with advanced malignant tumors,including 32 females and 40 males.Among the 72 patients,30 were lung cancer,20 were esophageal cancer,12 were breast cancer,6 were gastric cancer,and 4 were liver cancer.The youngest was 47 years old and the oldest was 69 years old,with an average of 56.7 years old.Of the 72 patients,3 were unfinished,2 of whom were lost to follow-up,and 1 was difficult to withdraw from oral medication due to progression of esophageal cancer.The results of 69 trials were as follows:(1)CFS score and EORTC QLQ-C30 score,the score was lower after treatment for 2 weeks and after 4 weeks of treatment,P <0.05,the difference was statistically significant.(2)Among the KPS scores,the KPS scores of 69 patients improved after 2 weeks and 4 weeks,P <0.05,the difference was statistically significant.(3)In the case of weight change,there was no significant improvement in body weight changes after treatment for 2 weeks and 4 weeks in 69 patients,and the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).(4)From the perspective of drug safety,69 patients were followed up for 4 weeks.Among them,5 patients had dry mouth during medication and 3 patients had constipation.No special treatment was given.After treatment,they all improved on their own.No drug was caused.Adverse reactions lead to discontinuation of medication.At the same time,the blood parameters of 52 patients before and after medication were analyzed.There was no significant difference in blood routine,liver function and renal function between the two groups after treatment(P > 0.05),indicating that Zhengyuan Capsule had no blood routine,liver function and renal function.The effect is relatively safe.Conclusions1.The incidence of cancer-related fatigue was 65.5%.Surgery,chemotherapy,and radiotherapy were risk factors for cancer-related fatigue.2.Zhengyuan capsule can reduce the fatigue and improve the quality of life of patients with advanced malignant tumor due to fatigue,but can not increase the weight of patients.3.Zhengyuan Capsule has a low incidence of adverse reactions in patients with advanced malignant tumors due to fatigue,and the medication is relatively safe.
