Objective: This study aimed to observe the different curative effect on the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder between the acupuncture thirteen ghost points and routine acupuncture acupoints.Therefore,it provide a safer and more effective method for the clinical treatment of generalized anxiety disorder.Methods: According to the strict way of random and trial,assignment of 40 cases into two groups,one was the thirteen ghost points group(the treatment group),the other group was the regular acupuncture acupoints group(the control group).The patients were treated with acupuncture once a day,and took one day of rest every 6 times,2 weeks for one course of treatment,and 4 weeks of total treatment.We evaluated and recorded before and after treatment of Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)scores and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores.Results: After treatment,Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)score and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)score were lower in both groups(P<0.05),but significant difference between the two groups was still observed(P<0.05).The total effective rate of thirteen ghost points group was 85% and overall response rate of regular acupuncture acupoints group was 75%.the difference of the final outcome of two groups was statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion: Acupuncture thirteen ghost points group and acupuncture conventional acupoints group were both effective methods to treat the patients of generalized anxiety disorder.But compared the two methods in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorders,the acupuncture thirteen ghost points can better improve the anxiety level,and the clinical effect is more significant.So it was worthy of clinical attention. |
