Clinical Study On The Recovery Of Gastrointestinal Function After Low Anterior Resection

Objective: This study was to observe the effect of comprehensive treatment on the rapid recovery of gastrointestinal function after anterior abdominal resection,to evaluate its clinical efficacy.Method:In this study,40 cases of low anterior resection((LAR)in the affiliated hospital of shandong university of traditional Chinese medicine were collected,randomly divided into the control group and the observation group.In the control group,western medicine tr-eatment was applied,the observation group to apply the combination therapy of the houpu exhaust mixture in the gastric tube to the acupuncture and the TDP equipment.Comparison of five days postoperatively in patients with bowel sounds recovery time,the exhaust and defecation time for the first time,postoperative abdominal pain,abdominal distension grade and recovery as well as the effect of composition,recovery of gastrointestinal function after operation and symptoms of tcm syndrome.Result: There were significant differences in the time of postoperative bowel sound recovery and the first exhaust and defecation time(P<0.01).The abdominal pain scores and abdominal distention scores in the third and fifth days and abdominal pain relief were compared,there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).The observation group was superior to the control group;There was no statistically significant difference in gastrointestinal reaction classification between the first day after surgery,the third day after surgery and the fifth day after surgery(P>0.05).Gastrointestinal reactions in both groups were not considered to be different.Two groups of gastrointestinal function recovery were compared,there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).To compare the gastrointestinal function recovery of the symptoms of tcm syndrome between the two groups in the first day、the third and fifth days,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The results showed that the treatment effect was better than the control group.Concludion: The comprehensive treatment can enable the early recovery of bowel sounds in rectal cancer patients after preabdominal resection.,and promote the patients’ exhaust defecation and alleviate the abdominal distension and abdominal pain of the patients after surgery,but there was no obvious advantage in alleviating gastrointestinal reactions.This comprehensive treatment is better than the control group for the recovery of gastrointestinal function,and it can significantly improve postoperative TCM symptoms and alleviate the pain of patients.
