Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of ultrasonic Gynecologic Imaging Reporting and Data System(GI-RADS-US)classification combined with serum Human Epididymis Protein 4(HE4)and Cancer Antigen 125(CA125)for unilocular-solid ovarian cysts. The diagnostic efficiency of this comprehensive analysis is calculated to provide a simple and effective classification and evaluation method for ultrasound doctors. Methods From January 2016 to December 2017,113 patients with 118 adnexal masses in the First Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical College were retrospectively analyzed.Ultrasonographic features were unilocular-solid ovarian cysts. All patients underwent pelvic ultrasonography before operation.GI-RADS classification was based on International Ovarian Tumor Analysis(IOTA)simple rules(SR).Adjust classification with serum tumor markers HE4 and CA125results,1-3 class is defined as benign,4-5 class is defined as malignant.Pathological findings were obtained by biopsy under operation or ultrasound-guided.The results of the comprehensive analysis were compared with the pathological results, and the diagnostic efficiency of this comprehensive classification was analyzed. Results Of 113 cases,50 cases were accompanied by elevation of HE4 and/or CA125.The classification results were benign in 61 cases, malignant in 52 cases.Pathological results were benign in 63 cases and malignant in 52 cases. The sensitivity of the comprehensive analysis of GI-RADS combined with serum CA125 and HE4 detection is 98%,the specificity is 95.2%,the positive predictive value is 94.2%,the negative predictive value is 98.4%.The difference between groups was statistically significant(?~2=93.836,P<0.01).The accuracy rate of GI-RADS 4 class tumors was 88%.Conclusions The standardized GI-RADS classification plus serum tumor markers has high value in the diagnosis of unilocular-solid ovarian cysts. The method is simple, feasible and effective, especially for the diagnosis of GI-RADS4 class tumors, and it can try to perform in all kind of ovarian tumors.
