Objectives:The study is to explore the association between plasma Hcy and ADMA level in hypertension patients with coronary heart disease. Methods:Two humdred and twenty-two primary hypertensive patients admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to November 2016 were divided into hypertensive group(n=66)and hypertension with coronary heart disease group(n=156).According to plasma homocysteine level, both groups were then divided into H-type hypertensive group(n=46),non H-type hypertensive group(n=20),H-type hypertension with coronary heart disease group(n=104)and non H-type hypertension with coronary heart disease group(n=52).Two copies of fasting venous blood was collected from both groups in the early morning. The plasma ADMA and Hcy levels were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results:The plasma ADMA and Hcy levels were significantly higher in hypertension with coronary heart disease group than in hypertensive group, and the plasma ADMA and Hcy levels were significantly higher in H-type hypertensive group and H-type hypertension with coronary heart disease group than in non H-type hypertensive group and non H-type hypertension with coronary heart disease group(P<0.05).Linear correlation analysis showed that the plasma ADMA level was associated with the plasma Hcy level in hypertension with coronary heart disease group(r=0.762,P<0.01).The linear stepwise regression analysis showed that the plasma Hcy level influenced the plasma ADMA level;Logistic regression analysis showed that Hcy and ADMA were both risk factors for hypertension patients with coronary heart disease after the interaction of other factors. Conclusions:The plasma Hcy and ADMA levels are significantly higher in hypertension patients with coronary heart disease and associated with sex, age, and has no correlation with lipid levels;Plasma Hcy and ADMA are the risk factors for hypertension patients with coronary heart disease, which have the clinical prediction value of the occurrence of coronary heart disease in primary hypertension patients;Plasma ADMA levels are positively correlated with Hcy levels in hypertension patients with coronary heart disease,so early detection of plasma Hcy levels helps to assess vascular endothelial function and early intervention.
