Purpose: This study aims at the problem of open mouth training after the operation of mandibular fracture, using spiral opening to assist the opening training, preventing postoperative muscle and joint rigidity, and discussing the effect of the spiral opening device in the mandibular fracture patients after operation.Method: This study is a clinical trial study.72 cases of patients with mandibular fracture in maxillofacial surgery in a three-Class A-grade A-level oral hospital in Jilin Province were randomly selected, divided into control group and observation group in 36 cases. In the control group, the routine Self opening training method(5 times daily,15-20 minutes per day)was given to the mandibular fracture, and the observation group was given the normal open mouth training method after the mandibular fracture operation, and the auxiliary spiral mouth mouth training.1 weeks,3 weeks after operation,1 months,3 months to the two groups of patients after the operation of open mouth measurement, data entry, data analysis using SPSS19.0,the same group of different periods of data comparison using paired T test, the same period of data comparison between groups using Independent sample T test, the basic information composition ratio using the card-side test.Result: Two groups of mandibular fracture patients after opening training 1 weeks,3 weeks,1 months and 3 months, open mouth degree is better than the previous stage(p<0.05),The results showed that the open mouth degree of the two groups was more and more normal after the operation with the opening training time, among them, the change of the mouth size measured after 1 weeks,3 weeks and 1 months after operation was statistically significant(p <0.05),The observation group was superior to the control group, and the open mouth training was measured after 3 months without statistical significance(p>0.05).In the observation group, the method of the open mouth training assisted by the spiral opening can effectively restore the postoperative opening degree of the mandibular fracture and the rehabilitation effect is good. Conclusion: In this study, open mouth training for mandibular fracture patients after operation, using spiral opening device to help patients open mouth training,it was found that this method can help to improve the degree of mouth opening, shorten the time to return to normal openings, and achieve good training effect,so as to provide a guarantee for the recovery of the physiological function of the jaw in the future.
