Clinical Observation Of Weiweining Capsule In The Treatment Of Chronic Atrophic Gastritis Of Young And Middle-aged Patients

Chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)is a common disease in the digestive system.The morbidity and detection rate of young and middle-aged patients of CAG is rising year by year with changes in human life habits and the prevalence of gastroscopy.But there is no effective treatment.Weiweining Capsule which is a proved recipe of prestigious Chinese physician has the effect of replenishing spleen qi?harmonizing stomach by warming yang and dispelling phlegm and stasis.Clinical treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis is satisfactory.This research aims to explore the effect on chronic atrophic gastritis of young and middle-aged patients.Part one:Theoretical DiscussionTo summarize the etiology and pathogenesis of chronic atrophic gastritis by traditional medicine and its syndrome differentiation and treatment of modern physicians,we can see that TCM has certain advantages on the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis.From the perspective of TCM pathogenesis,deficiency of spleen and stomach is the basic pathogenesis of CAG and deficiency cold of spleen and stomach type is one of the basic syndrome of CAG.Part two:Clinical ObservationObjective:By the means of self-control study method,it aims to observe the effect of Weiweining Capsule on chronic atrophic gastritis of young and middle-aged patients.BY the results of this,we hope to provide a effective therapeutic method for young and middle-aged patients who are suffering from chronic atrophic gastritis.Method:We collected general information?the results of endoscopy test?TCM syndromes and four diagnostic materials of young and middle-aged patients of gastroenterology clinic via questionaire.The observation of clinical efficacy was performed on 42 patients with cure of Weiweining Capsule for 6 months.Symptoms and signs of TCM were recorded before the treatment,the third month,the sixth month and three months after the treatment.All patients were conducted gastroscopic examination and pathological test both before and after the treatment and the results were recorded.The SPSS 20.0 was used to analyze the data and evaluate the clinical efficacy.Results:Adopting Weiweining Capsule in treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis of young and middle-aged patients,the total scores of Symptoms and signs of the time 3 months treatment and 6 months treatment had respectively significant difference when comparing with the performance before treatment(P<0.01).Every sign and Symptom score of 6 months treatment,except weakness,had significant difference with contrast with the performance before treatment(P<0.01).In part of pathological score,significant differences existed in gastric atrophy and intestinal metaplasia of greater and lesser curvature of gastric antrum from 6 months treatment and before the treatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01).In evaluation of the efficacy of TCM syndromes,12(28.57%)cases have good effect,26(61.90%)cases have effect,4(9.52%)cases have no effect,the total treatment rate was 90.48%after the 6 months' treatment.From the perspective of pathological effects,gastric mucosa of 2(4.76%)cases return from atrophy to normal,2(4.76%)cases have good effect,13(30.95%)cases have effect,25(59.52%)cases have no effect.3(9.37%)patients'gastric mucosa return from intestinal metaplasia to normal,no one has good effect,13(40.62%)cases have effect,16(50.00%)cases have no effect.After the treatment,the effect rate of patients' atrophy and intestinal metaplasia were 40.48%and 50.00%.Conclusion:Weiweining Capsule has a great effect on chronic atrophic gastritis of young and middle-aged patients,both in TCM symptoms?atrophy and intestinal metaplasia.
