ObjectiveIn this paper,a retrospective study was conducted to analyze the risk factors and the TCM characteristics of respiratory virus infection in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD) in LingNan region represented by GuangZhou,in order to reduce the number of acute exacerbations of viral infections, decrease unnecessary antibiotic use in treatment, and provide theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of respiratory virus infection.MethodsThis research adopts the clinical epidemiology method of case-control study. From January 2016 to December 2017,373 patients with AECOPD who hospitalized in Guangdong provincial hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were collected.According to the hospital respiratory virus test results, they were divided into virus-positive groups and virus-negative groups. At the same time,we gathered the patient's medical records of Chinese and Western medicine during hospital stay.Establish database after sorting out related case data,we used SPSS18.0 for statistical analysis,in order that obtain the related risk factors of respiratory virus infection in AECOPD patients and the characteristics of TCM.Results1.373 cases of AECOPD were tested positive for the virus in 32 cases, with a positive rate of 8.58%.A total of 34 virus strains were detected, including 18 cases(4.83%) of parainfluenza and 10 cases(2.68%) of influenza B virus in the first two cases. And during the four seasons, the number of virus detection in spring was the highest(14,41.18%).2.Compared with the clinical features of virus-negative patients, the difference in albumin/globulin ratio and lymphocyte percentage was statistically significant(P<0.05).It was suggested that virus infection was related to albumin/globulin ratio and lymphocyte percentage.3.In terms of TCM syndrome, virus positive group(4.69%) and virus-negative group(44.28%) were the first syndromes with phlegm-dampness.Conclusion1.Respiratory virus infection is one of the important causes of AECOPD,and clinical doctors should pay attention to the detection and treatment of respiratory virus infection in patients admitted to AECOPD.At the same time, patients with COPD should be aware of protection during the spring and other influenza seasons to prevent the AECOPD caused by respiratory virus infection.2.Albumin/globulin ratio and lymphocyte percentage may be a risk factor for virus infection in AECOPD patients, and doctor improved the patient's albumin/globulin ratio and lymphocyte percentage, which was helpful for the prevention and treatment of AECOPD respiratory virus infection.3.The first syndromes of virus positive group and virus-negative group were phlegm-dampness,It suggested that during the hospitalization of AECOPD patients in lingnan area, clinicians should not only pay attention to clearing damp drugs and external treatment, but also pay attention to the application of strengthening spleen and warming spleen method.
