Background:As a chronic non-infectious lifelong disease, diabetes has the characteristics of long course of disease, serious complications and heavy economic burden.Studies have proved that diabetes is also a psychosomatic disease.Psychosocial factors also play an important role in the treatment and life process of patients with diabetes. With the change of medical model to bio-psycho-sociological model and the increasing population of diabetic patients, the psychological health of diabetic patients is gradually attracting the attention of scholars.A large number of studies on the psychological status of diabetic patients are about depression, psychological distress and other adverse psychological conditions of patients, while ignoring healthy,well-adapted individuals, rarely from a positive perspective to explore what can enhance the positive emotions of these patients, promote them to adopt positive cognition and behavior to face the disease, resilience focuses on the positive psychological state of these individuals. In China, researches on resilience started relatively late, and empirical studies are rare, and the research objects are mainly teenagers and college students.Few researchers have studied the resilience of the elderly. However, the aging phenomenon of China's population is increasingly prominent.Elderly diabetes patients,as a special group, are suffering from both the aging process and the pain of diabetes.Their psychological factors and behavioral activities will have significant changes due to the physical changes after suffering from diabetes. As a province with a large population and a high incidence of diabetes, the resilience of elderly patients with diabetes can not be ignored in Shandong Province. Objectives:To investigate the resilience of elderly patients with diabetes,to analyze the classification characteristics of resilience of elderly patients with diabetes by latent category analysis method, and to explore the influencing factors of resilience of elderly patients with diabetes,so as to provide basis and guidance for taking appropriate interventions to promote the resilience of elderly patients in future work.Improving the resilience level of patients has far-reaching significance for the prevention and treatment of diseases in elderly patients with diabetes. Methods:In this study,Multi-stage random sampling method was used to select elderly diabetic patients aged 60 years and over in the eastern, central and western regions of Shandong Province as the research object.Self-made questionnaires and the Chinese version of ER89 ResilienceScale were used to conduct general data survey and resilience of elderly patients.Epidata was used to establish a database.SPSS24.0 software was used to analyze the data. The basic situation of resilience of elderly patients with diabetes was analyzed by descriptive analysis. The latent categories of resilience of elderly patients with diabetes were explored by Mplus 7.0 software.Single factor analysis was performed by x2 test, and Multiple Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of mental resilience. Results:The average score of resilience of 1002 elderly patients with diabetes was(41.86± 7.09).Statistical indicators supported that potential groupings were retained in four categories(P<0.01).According to the conditional probability and characteristics of various types of items in the questionnaire,it can be named as:Cl:high resilience group;C2:do not like to accept new things in the resilience group;C3:medium and low resilience group with weak curiosity;C4:low resilience group that doesn't like to accept new things. The number of participants accounted for 11.4%,34.3%,41.6%and 12.8%of the total sample respectively.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that there were significant differences in alcohol consumption,self-rated economic status and whether or not they had confidant friends of elderly patients with diabetes in Cl and C4 categories(P<0.05);whether they often communicate with their children and whether or not they had confidant friends had a significant effect on the C2 compared to the C4(P<0.05);self-rated health, and whether or not they had confidant friends had a significant effect on the C3 compared to the C4(P<0.05).Conclusion and Suggestion:Conclusion:The reliability and validity of ER89 Resilience Scale in this study is good, which is suitable for the study of the status quo of resilience of elderly diabetic patients in Shandong province. This study used the latent category analysis method to classify the resilience of elderly patients with diabetes, and the results fit well, which can be divided into four categories, with different proportions of each category in whether to drink,self-rated economic status, whether to communicate with their children frequently,self-rated health status, and whether to have confidant friends.Follow-up work can take targeted intervention measures according to different resilience categories of elderly patients with diabetes.Suggestion:Emphasize the evaluation of individual resilience, and use the results of resilience to intervene in patients with low resilience.Encourage patients to express positive ermotions, health workers consciously carry out mental health services, and guide diabetic patients to strengthen positive emotions.Establish a good social support system, attach importance to the role of family, peers, and other social support forces, improve their well-being and satisfaction,so as to improve the resilience level of elderly diabetic patients.Expanding the scope and strength of medical insurance, alleviating the economic pressure of patients, and making the elderly have medical care.
