ObjectiveBased on the theory of eCASH,a physical restraint reduction program was developed, and a comprehensive intervention strategy for reducing ICU physical restraint was discussed through the implementation of the physical restraint reduction program,so as to provide a basis for future research.Methods1.With the concept of eCASH as the theoretical framework,a physical restraint reduction action group was established to formulate a physical restraint reduction scheme based on the concept of eCASH.2.The physical restraint reduction scheme based on the concept of eCASH was implemented, and before and after the implementation of the scheme, the ICU nurses'knowledge, attitude and practice of physical restraint and the status quo of physical restraint were investigated.3.SPSS17.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the data, mean standard deviation was used for statistical description of measurement data, and t test was used for comparison between groups. The rank-sum test was used for the comparison of the constraint time between the two groups, and the paired t-test was used for the questionnaire comparison of nursing staff before and after the intervention. The counting data were statistically described by frequency and percentage, and the comparison between groups was conducted by chi-square test.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results1.The questionnaire results of SICU nurses were paired before and after the intervention. After the paired comparison, the physical restraint knowledge(P<0.05),physical restraint attitude(P<0.05)and physical restraint behavior(P<0.001)of ICU nurses before and after the intervention were statistically significant.2.Comprehensive intervention strategy can reduce the rate of physical restraint and physical restraint time(P<0.05),and will not increase the incidence of unplanned extubation(P>0.05).Conclusion1.Through nursing training and the reduction of physical restraint practice, nurses can improve their understanding of physical restraint and regulate their physical restraint behavior.2.The physical restraint reduction scheme based on the concept of eCASH can reduce the rate of physical restraint and physical restraint time3.The physical restraint reduction scheme based on the concept of eCASH don't increase the incidence of unplanned extubation.
