Objective:By observing the clinical curative effect of treatment group(electro-acupuncture combined with moxibustion)and control group(loratadine)on chronic eczema and its influence on serum IgE,the curative effect and safety of the two methods were compared and analyzed, which provided a comprehensive scheme of traditional Chinese medicine with simple operation, conclusive evidence, definite curative effect and easy popularization for the treatment of chronic eczema. Methods: 60 patients with chronic eczema collected from inpatient and outpatient departments of dermatology of Sichuan Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2018.1 to 2018.11 were randomly divided into treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases). The basic intervention measures were implemented in both groups. The treatment group was treated with electro-acupuncture combined with mild moxibustion(electro acupuncture treatmentthe :Kongzui,Quchi,Xuehai,Zusanli,Sanyinjiao). The control group was treated with routine western medicine(oral loratadine treatment)for 2 weeks.eczema area and severity index(EASI),Visual analogue scale(VAS),serum IgE value, the time required for the 30% reduction of pruritus(h)and duration required for 30% and above remission of pruritus(d)were used as observation indexes to evaluate the efficacy and safety. The above data were progressed with statistical software SPSS21.0.Statistical analysis was carried out and concrete results were obtained. Results: 1.The pre-treatment patients groups in general data of gender, age and course of disease were comparable between the two groups(p > 0.05);in ESAI score,VAS score and serum IgE value were comparable(p > 0.05).2.The total effective rate: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 92%,and that of the control group was 75.8%.The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(p < 0.05).3.EASI score: After treatment, the total EASI score of the two groups decreased both before and after treatment(p < 0.05),especially in the treatment group(p < 0.05).The improvement of five symptoms in EASI scale was compared, which showed that the treatment group was effective in improving the five symptoms(p < 0.05),while the control group was not effective in improving erythema and moss(p > 0.05).4.VAS score: After treatment, the VAS score of both groups decreased(p < 0.05),and that of the treatment group decreased more significantly(p < 0.05).5.Serum IgE level: After treatment, the serum IgE level of both groups decreased(p < 0.05),and the curative effect of the two groups was similar(p > 0.05).6.The time required for the 30% reduction of pruritus(h): Compared with the two groups, the treatment group could relieve itching more quickly(p < 0.05).7.Duration required for 30% and above remission of pruritus(d): Compared with the two groups, the antipruritic effect of the treatment group was more lasting(p < 0.05).8.Elimination/abscission cases: 2 cases in the treatment group were excluded/abscission,accounting for 6.7% of the total number of the treatment group, the reason was not related to the treatment itself;1 case in the control group was excluded/abscission,accounting for 3.3% of the total number of the control group, the reason was that the curative effect was not good.9.Follow-up interviews: elephone follow-up was conducted on patients who were cured, enjoyed the markedly effective treatment, and enjoyed the effective treatment..The recurrence rate in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(p < 0.05).10.Adverse reactions/events: Adverse reactions/cases: Four adverse reactions occurred in the control group while no adverse cases occurred in the treatment group. Conclusion: Electroacupuncture combined with moxibustion treatment for chronic eczema can relieve pruritus symptoms more quickly and last for a longer duration. It is more effective in improving chronic eczema(EASI score)and pruritus(VAS score); The two treatment methods for the decline of serum IgE levels in patients with chronic eczema were both effective and their efficacy was quite similar.Electroacupuncture combined with moxibustion treatment has better long-term efficacy and higher safety.Combined the safely, compliance and overall clinical efficacy of the two groups, the electroacupuncture combined with moxibustion treatment method has clinical promotion value.
