Objective: To explore the influencing factors of short-term prognosis of children with status epilepticus(SE)in intensive care unit(PICU).Method: A retrospective analysis of the clinical data of children with SE was made.156 children were monitored by PICU(children transferred from pediatric neurology department to pediatric intensive care unit and intensive care unit).According to GOS score, the poor prognosis group was(GOS<5,44 cases)and the good prognosis group(GOS<5,112 cases).Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of poor prognosis. Results: Univariate analysis showed that hospitalization time, growth retardation, generalized seizures, imaging abnormalities and age were associated with poor short-term prognosis of SE children in PICU(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that long hospitalization, dysplasia and abnormal imaging manifestations were independent risk factors for short-term poor prognosis of SE children in PICU(P<0.05).According to gender, etiology, inducement, type of clinical epilepsy seizures, whether there were fever, brain MRI,electroencephalogram and control time, there was no significant difference in short-term prognosis of SE children(P>0.05).Among 156 SE children,95 were convulsions,31 were intracranial infections,4 were febrile convulsions,26 were other diseases,44 were suggestive of poor prognosis,11.05.Two patients showed good prognosis.Infection-induced seizures accounted for 40.9%of the short-term poor prognosis of SE children in all age groups.Irregular use of antiepileptic drugs accounted for 36.4% and non-induced seizures accounted for 22.7%.Conclusion: Long hospitalization time, backward growth and development, abnormal cranial magnetic resonance and seizure type were independent risk factors for short-term poor prognosis of SE children in PICU.
