Objective:Three-dimensional ultrasound and speckle tracking were used to evaluate left ventricular function in patients with metabolic syndrome, and the thickness of epicardial fat was measured. The correlation between left epicardial function and left ventricular function was analyzed. To investigate the predictive value of epicardial fat thickness in patients with impaired cardiac function of the metabolic syndrome.Methods:1.30 patients with metabolic syndrome(case group)and 31 healthy adults(control group)were selected for gender, age, height, weight,BMI,systolic blood pressure(SP),diastolic blood pressure(DP),triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC)and other indicators.2.Heart rate, left ventricular end-diastolic volume(EDV),left ventricular end-systolic volume(ESV)and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)were measured in both groups;early E-peak blood flow velocity(E)of mitral valve diastolic,Peak A blood flow velocity(A),E/e',stroke per stroke(SV),global longitudinal strain(GLS),globall circumferential strain(GCS),global area strain(GAS),global radial strain(GRS),epicardial fat thickness(EAT)and other parameters were analyzed for differences between the two groups of data.3.To measured the thickness of epicardial fat(EAT)in the case group and the control group and to analyzed the correlation between EAT and the strain rate parameter. Results:Compared with the control group, the global longitudinal strain(GLS)and global radial strain(GRS)of the left ventricular myocardium were statistically significant(P<0.05);the global circumferential strain(GCS)and the global area between the two groups. There was no significant difference in strain(GAS)(P>0.05).The epicardial fat thickness in the case group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was alinear relationship between the overall long axis strain and the epicardial fat thickness in the control group and the case group(r:0.637,P<0.001).Conclusion:Three-dimensional speckle tracking technology can detect changes in myocardial mechanical function in patients with metabolic syndrome, and this change is closely related to epicardial fat.Epicardial fat thickness may be one of the indicators of impaired cardiac function. |
