Objective:To explore the characteristics of TCM constitution in patients with chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)by means of cross-sectional study, and to study the correlation between diet, emotion, constitution and the severity of atrophy and intestinal metaplasia. In order to provide further basis for clinical prevention and treatment of the disease. Methods:The patients with chronic atrophic gastritis diagnosed by electronic gastroscopy and pathological examination were collected by questionnaire, and the basic information, personal history, gastroscopy and pathological examination results of the patients were collected. The scores of each scale were calculated to evaluate the physique type, anxiety and depression status of the patients, and the collected data were summarized and statistically analyzed.Results:1.319 cases of CAG what were collected in The Third Affiliated Hospital of Yunnan University of Traditional Medicine and The First People's Hospital of Yunnan Province from January 2018 to February 2019,were more common in males than in females, but there was no statistical significance(?~2=1.585,P>0.05).the age of onset was concentrated in the middle-aged and elderly patients aged 50~69 years, with an average age of 59.69±9.45.2.The common constitution of CAG patients were phlegm dampness>qi depression>yang deficiency>qi deficiency>blood stasis>yin deficiency>damp-heat>special quality(?~2=115.45,P<0.01).There were significant differences in the distribution of physique among the patients with different gastroscopic appearances(?~2=27.473,P<0.05).3.There were significant differences in the distribution of physique among the patients with different severity of pathological types. The most common constitution in the patients with mild atrophic gastritis is qi depression, the most common constitution in the patients with moderate atrophic gastritis is phlegm dampness, and the most common constitution in the patients with severe atrophic gastritis is yang deficiency(?~2=44.588,P<0.01).Phlegm dampness and qi depression were the most common in the patients with mild intestinal metaplasia, phlegm dampness was the most common constitution in the patients with moderate intestinal metaplasia, and yang deficiency was the most common in the patients with severe intestinal metaplasia(?~2=43.094,P=0.01<0.05).4.CAG patients are more likely to occur in the gastric antrum, second in multiple parts. There are significant differences in the degree of atrophy and intestinal metaplasia in different parts, and the degree of atrophy and intestinal metaplasia in gastric antrum is the most serious(?~2=35.754,P<0.01;?~2=16.013,P<0.01).5.There were significant differences in the severity of anxiety and depression among patients with different degrees of atrophy and intestinal metaplasia(?~2=42.650,P<0.01;?~2=12.101,P=0.007<0.01;?~2=33.697,P<0.01),except that there was no significant difference in the degree of anxiety and depression among patients with different degrees of atrophy(?~2=5.226,P=0.156>0.05).6.The severity of atrophy was correlated with Hp infection, good sleep quality, salted food intake overly and the corporeity of blood stasis(P=0.023?0.012?0.049?0.013<0.05).The severity of intestinal metaplasia was mainly related to anxiety, depression and the corporeity of blood stasis(P=0.000?0.002?0.024<0.05).Conclusion:1.The constitution of patients with chronic atrophic gastritis is mainly phlegm dampness,qi depression, yang deficiency and blood stasis, and it is related to the appearances of gastroscopy and the severity of atrophy and intestinal metaplasia.2.The severity of atrophy and intestinal metaplasia is related to Hp infection, sleep quality, eating habits, anxiety and depression status and the corporeity of traditional Chinese medicine.
