Clinical Observation Chaihu Guizhi Decoction In The Treatment Of Cold-heat Complicated Syndrome Of Functional Dyspepsia

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect and mechanism of Chaihu Guizhi Decoction on the treatment of cold and heat complicated functional dyspepsia by observing the changes of serum serotonin levels,symptom scores and clinical efficacy before and after treatment in patients with cold and heat complicated functional dyspepsia.Methods:Forty patients with cold and hot complicated functional dyspepsia were diagnosed and divided into treatment group and control group by random number table method.The treatment group was treated with Chinese medicine Chaihu Guizhi Decoction,and the control group was given mosapride citrate tablets.The treatment period was 4 weeks.The changes of safety,symptom score,efficacy index,serum 5-HT level,anxiety and depression scores and follow-up symptom scores after 1 month of treatment were recorded and compared before and after treatment.Results:(1)Safety: No adverse reactions occurred in the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment.(2)The overall symptom scores of Western medicine:After treatment,the individual scores of the overall symptoms of the treatment group and the control group were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the postprandial discomfort and mid-upper pain scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total scores of the two groups before and after treatment were significantlydecreased(P<0.05),but the total score after treatment in the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).(3)TCM symptom scores: The scores of TCM symptoms in the treatment group were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the scores in the treatment group were full or painful,and the scores were obvious after treatment with cold,poor appetite and noisy treatment.Compared with the control group(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in scores after treatment for the other single symptoms(P>0.05).In the control group,the symptoms of stomach fullness or pain,noisy,nausea or vomiting,bowel and stool were improved before and after treatment(P<0.05),but the scores of the remaining single symptoms were not significantly improved(P>0.05).The total scores of TCM symptoms in both groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the total score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.01).(4)Efficacy of TCM symptoms: The total effective rate of the treatment group was 95.0%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 65.0%.The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)Serum 5-HT content: The serum 5-HT content in the treatment group was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.05),and the increase level was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The level of serum5-HT in the control group was not significantly different from that before treatment(P>0.05).(6)Psychological state: In the scores of anxiety and depression scales,the anxiety and depression scores of the two groups were lower than thepre-treatment scores(P<0.05),and the anxiety and depression scores of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).(7)Recurrence rate: The recurrence rate of the treatment group was15.79%,and the recurrence rate of the control group was 38.50%.The difference in recurrence rate between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:(1)The treatment of Chaihu Guizhi Decoction for the treatment of cold and hot complicated FD patients is superior to mosapride tablets in the treatment of symptoms,clinical efficacy,improvement of mental state and the regulation of serum 5-HT levels.In addition,Chaihu Guizhi Decoction has a low recurrence rate and good efficacy,which is worthy of further exploration and application in clinical practice.(2)The addition and subtraction of Chaihu Guizhi Decoction can significantly up-regulate the serum 5-HT level of cold-heat complicated FD patients.This may be the mechanism of the treatment of Chaihu Guizhi Decoction for the treatment of cold-heat complicated FD.
