Objective: To explore the malignant risk factors of intraductal papillary mucinous tumors of the pancreas, and compare the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value of the European Evidence-based Guidelines and Fukuoka International Consensus in predicting malignant IPMN.Methods: The clinical and pathological features of 13 patients with IPMN were analyzed retrospectively. Results: Univariate analysis showed that the diameter of main pancreatic duct greater than or equal to 10 mm was a risk factor for malignant IPMN(P < 0.05),while gender, imaging classification, mural nodules, solid mass, abdominal pain, diarrhea, jaundice, weight loss, hypertension, diabetes, pancreatitis, tumor location, age, elevated CA199,elevated CEA,tumor diameter were not risk factors for malignant IPMN.The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value were 100.0%(6/6),14.3%(1/7),50.0%(6/12)and 100.0%(1/1)for European Evidence-based Guidelines, and 83.3%(5/6),57.1%(4/7),62.5%(5/8)and 80.0%(4/5)for Fukuoka Consensus Standard. Conclusions: 1.The diameter of the main pancreatic duct(?10mm)is a malignant risk factor for IPMN.2.There was no significant difference in sensitivity and specificity between Euro-Evidence-Based Guidelines and Fukuoka International Consensus in predicting malignant IPMN.
