| Objective:To observe the 1‐year mortality after geriatric hip fracture surgery and summarize the death‐associated risk factors.Methods:56 men and 97 women aged from65 to 104(mean,79.39)years old were followed up.The data of 153 elder patients who were over 65 years old with hip fracture and underwent surgical treatment in the Xinjiang People’s Hospital form March 2015 to April 2018 were collected and retrospectively studied.1-year mortality of patients was calculated.Death‐associated risk factors were analyzed including age, gender,BMI,faracture classifications, surgery timing,ASA grade, anesthesia, type of operation, number of comorbidities, number of postoperative complications.Univariate and binary logistic regression analysis were performed on relevant influencing factors. Results: The 1-year mortality of the 153 patients was20.92%.Univariate analysis revealed that the risk factors of mortality were including age,BMI,number of comorbidities, cardiovascular system complications.Logistic regression analysis revealed that the independent risk factors effecting the mortality included age [P=0.035,OR=1.077,95%CI(1.005~1.154)],BMI[P=0.017,OR=0.904,95% CI(0.832~0.982)],number of comorbidities [P=0.004,OR=5.599,95% CI(1.739~18.025)],cardiovascular system complications [P=0.013,OR=1.214,95%CI(1.042~1.414)].Conclusion:Age,BMI,number of comorbidities, cardiovascular system complications were independent risk factors of 1-year mortality of elderly patients after hip fracture surgery. |
