Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Insomnia With Yin Deficiency And Fire Prosperity By Tongdu Transfer Method

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Tongdu transfer method in the treatment of insomnia with yin deficiency and fire prosperity.Methods: Sixty patients with insomnia of yin deficiency and fire boom type were randomly divided into treatment group(n=30)and control group(n=30).The treatment group was treated with Tongdu transfer method combined with zolpidan tartrate tablets.The patients in the control group were given zolpidan tartrate tablets.The Pittsburgh Sleep quality Index(PSQI)and TCM symptom scale(TCM)of the two groups were evaluated before and after treatment.The scores were statistically analyzed and the therapeutic effect was evaluated.Results:A total of 60 patients with insomnia caused by yin deficiency and fire were enrolled in this study.1.There was no significant difference in age,sex,course of disease,PSQI score and TCM syndrome score between the two groups before treatment.2.The total effective rate was 93.33% in the treatment group and 80.00% in the control group(P< 0.05).3.The total score of PSQI,the score of each item and the total score of TCM syndrome in the two groups were significantly lower than those in the control group(P< 0.05).4.There were significant differences in the total score of PSQI and the total score of TCM syndrome between the two groups(P< 0.05).The scores of sleep quality,sleep time,daytime function and sleep time in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P< 0.05),and the sleep efficiency and sleep disorder were significantly lower in the treatment group than in the control group.The score of hypnotic drugs did not decrease significantly,but there was no significant difference(P> 0.05).Conclusion:Tongdu transfer method is effective in the treatment of insomnia with yin deficiency and fire prosperity,and the curative effect is better than that of western medicine alone.
