Application Of "One Divides Into Three" Syndrome Differentiation Method And Traditional Syndrome Differentiation Method In Depression

Objective:To explore the relationship between the three types of syndromes by the "one divides into three" syndrome differentiation method and the five types of syndromes by the traditional syndrome differentiation method,and getting a new syndrome differentiation method for depression.The purpose is predigesting and including all syndromes.Methods:A total of 208 patients with depression were diagnosed by the “one divideds into three” syndrome differentiation method and traditional syndrome differentiation,and the syndrome differentiation results of the two syndrome differentiation methods were analyzed.Results:1.The yang syndrome includes the stagnation of liver-QI syndrome and the liver and gallbladder damp-heat syndrome.The yin syndrome includes the deficiency of both heart and spleen syndrome.The mixture of yin and yang includes the stagnation of liver-QI with deficiency of the spleen syndrome and the stagnation of liver-QI with deficiency of kidney syndrome.2.A total of 208 patients with depression were diagnosed by the “one divideds into three” syndrome differentiation method and the traditional syndrome differentiation.Among the five types of syndromes by the traditional syndrome differentiation method,98 cases(47.1%)with the stagnation of liver-QI with deficiency of kidney syndrome,68 cases(32.7%)with the deficiency of both heart and spleen syndrome,28 cases(13.5%)with the stagnation of liver-QI with deficiency of the spleen syndrome,7 cases(3.4%)with the liver and gallbladder damp-heat syndrome,7 cases(3.4%)with the stagnation of liver-QI syndrome.Among the three types of syndromes by the “one divided into three” syndrome differentiation method,123 cases(59.1%)with the mixture of yin and yang syndrome,76 cases(36.5%)with the yin syndrome,9 cases(4.3%)with the yang syndrome.3.There is postive correlation the mixture of yin and yang syndrome with age(P<0.01).4.There is negtive between correlation stagnation of liver-QI with deficiency of the spleen syndrome and Hamilton anxiety scale(P<0.01).Conclusion:In the syndrome differentiation of depression,the three syndromes by the “one divideds into three” syndrome differentiation method can cover the five types of syndromes by the traditional syndrome differentiation method.It maybe become a more simplifier syndrome differentiation method for depression.
