Objective: Dysmenorrhea is a common gynecologic disease,which has a bad effect on the life and work of women.Traditional Tuina are mainly manipulations on abdomen in treating dysmenorrhea,while in our research,the effect of Tuina on back was studied.The effect of“treating yang for yin disorder(Yang Yin)” Tuina therapy on treating primary dysmenorrhea(Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome)was observed and compared with traditional massage method,in order to provide new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of dysmenorrhea.Methods: 60 patients with primary dysmenorrhea(Qi stagnation and blood stasis type)were randomly divided into two groups,with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with “Yang Yin”Tuina therapy,while the control group was treated with traditional massage.The dysmenorrhea TCM symptom scores and PGF2 alpha levels of two groups before and after treatment were recorded.The data were statistically analyzed with SPSS17.0 software to compare the difference between the two groups.Results: After 1 courses of treatment,the following results were obtained:(1)the treatment group: 8 cured cases(27.59%),15 markedly effective cases(51.72%)and 4 effective cases(13.79%).The control group: 6 recovered cases(20.69%),9 markedly effective cases(31.03%)and 11 effective cases(20.69%).(2)after 3 months follow-up,5 cases(17.24%)were cured in the treatment group,16 cases(55.17%)were markedly effective,6 cases(20.69%)were effective.4 cases(13.79%)were cured in the control group,7 cases were markedly effective(24.14%)and 12 were effective(41.38%).Conclusion: “Yang Yin”Tuina therapy was proved to be effective in treating primary dysmenorrhea(Qi stagnation and blood stasis type)and can be promoted in clinical practice...
