Objective: The purpose of this experiment is to study on the repair effect of the Modified Simiaoyongan Decoction on retinal photocoagulation injury in patients with peri-photocoagulation period diabetic retinopathy,and to explore its mechanism and evaluate its clinical efficacy,to provide new ideas and a new clinical treatment plan for the treatment of retinal photocoagulation damage in patients with diabetic retinopathy.Methods: The patients were selected according to the standard and were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group and the control group.There were 30 cases(30 eyes)in each group,and the two groups were under the guidance of the Department of endocrinology to control the blood glucose,and all the drugs were used at the first 1 days after the last photocoagulation.The treatment group was treated with the Modified Simiaoyongan Decoction,and the control group was given Vitamin C and Inosine.The two groups were treated for 49 days..The two groups examined the field of vision and MF-ERG at 1 days after the last photocoagulation,and examined vision,fundus oculi,visual field,FFA,OCT,MF-ERG at the after treatment and before the photocoagulation.Finally compare the result and evaluate the curative effect.Results: Comparing the treatment group with the control group,we can find that the effect of treatment group on vision,macular edema,fundus lesions,retinal infusions and neovascularization was better than that of the control group after the end-of-treatment and before the photocoagulation.The results were statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Comparing the results of the field of vision and mf-erg we found that the average optical sensitivity and mf-erg amplitude at 1 days after the last photocoagulation were significantly decreased than which before the photocoagulation(P<0.05).It is indicated that photocoagulation is obvious to retinal damage.There was no difference in retinal injury between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).Comparing the result of the two group at the end-of-treatment and the result of 1 days after the last photocoagulation,we can find that the average optical sensitivity and mf-erg amplitude has a certain degree to rise.The efficacy of treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group,and the results were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: This test shows that the Modified Simiaoyongan Decoction can effectively improve the retinal function of diabetic retinopathy and protect the retina.At the same time,it also shows that the combination of the TCM and retinal photocoagulation for diabetic retinopathy has obvious effect.
