Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of She Zhi Huang Ling Decoction for postoperative standard radiotherapy and chemotherapy in patients with glioma, and to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of treatment regimen in the treatment group from different angles in this study.Method: The seventy-five patients were included in the clinical research into the treatment group(She Zhi Huang Ling Decoction and chemoradiotherapy)and control group(simple western medicine and chemotherapy). On the basis of chemoradiotherapy, the patients in the treatment group were treated with She Zhi Huang Ling decoction. The patients in the control group were treated with western medicine and chemotherapy alone. After six cycles of treatment and follow-up,blood system index(blood routine, tumor markers),imaging data and KPS score for functional status were statistically analyzed.Result:(1)Tumor markers(1)AEP:Before treatment, the mean difference between the treatment group and the control group was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The mean value of the treatment group was lower than control group after the treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).(2)NSE:Before treatment, the mean difference between the treatment group and the control group was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The mean value of the treatment group was lower than control group after the treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)CA15-3:Before treatment, the mean difference between the treatment group and the control group was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The mean value of the treatment group was lower than control group after the treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)IL-6:Before treatment, the mean difference between the treatment group and the control group was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The mean value of the treatment group was higher than control group after the treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).(2)Side effects:Before treatment, there was no significant difference in hemoglobin, platelet and hemameba between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).The mean value of the control group was lower than treatment group after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).(2)Side effects of clinical symptoms of the control group showed that nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, oral ulcer, hair loss rates was higher than the frequency of the treatment group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The comparision of KPS scores(1)Before treatment:Before treatment, the mean difference between the treatment group and the control group was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(2)After treatment: The mean value of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)Comparison of clinical efficacy:(1)Imaging comparison:The recurrence rate of the lesion in the control group was higher than that in the treatment group, the difference was statistically significant(P=0.021).The effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that of the control group for imaging, and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.021).(2)The comparison of overall efficiency:The ?2 test shows that figure of P(=0.041)was less than 0.05,the difference was statistically significant. We think that the overall efficiency of treatment group was better than the control group.(5)Analysis of factors affecting the curative effect:Pathological grading, age and degree of tumor resection were analyzed by chi square single factor analysis.KPS score after treatment was analyzed by logistic regression.Single factor analysis showed that pathological grading, age, degree of tumor resection and KPS score were independent influencing factors of clinical efficacy(P <0.05).Age(<60 years old)is a protective factor for clinical efficacy(OR=0.016,95%CI is 0.005~0.574),and pathological grade(grade IV)is a risk factor for clinical efficacy(OR=0.026,95%CI is 0.005~0.706).Conclusion:(1)The combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment group is more effective than the western medicine and chemotherapy alone, which can delay the progression of the patient's condition and inhibit the growth of the tumor.(2)Side effects: From two aspects of blood system index and clinical symptoms, the treatment group is better than the control group, which is beneficial to improve the adverse reaction of radiotherapy and chemotherapy.(3)Pathological grade, age, tumor resection degree and KPS score were independent factors of clinical effect.Age(< 60 years of age)is a protective factor for clinical efficacy, and pathological grade(grade IV)is a risk factor for clinical efficacy.
