Clinical Research On Effects Of Yin-Nourishing And Wind-Extinguishing Granules On Post-Stroke Late-Onset Epilepsy Of Liver-Kidney Yin Deficiency

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety clinical application of Yin-Nourishing and Wind-Extinguishing Granules in the treatment of Post-Stroke Late-onset Epilepsy due to Liver-Kidney Yin Deficiency;and according to TCM theory,to explore the Post-Stroke Late-onset Epilepsy of Liver-Kidney Yin Deficiency pathogenesis,in order to provide a new method and medicine for the clinical treatment of this disease.Methods:Choose 62 patients from October 2015 to March 2017 in the Weifang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine who were diagnosed with post-stroke late-onset epilepsy of liver-kidney yin deficiency type,were divided into 2 groups randomly: treatment group and control group,32 cases in each group.The control group was treated with standard western medicine,including antiepileptic therapy and norms secondary prevention and treatment of cerebrovascular disease.The treatment group was treated with Yin-Nourishing and Wind-Extinguishing Granules on the basis of routine western medicine treatment,a dose,2 times a day,once in the morning and night.The two groups were treated continuously for 8 weeks.After the end of treatment,compared the clinical efficacy,score of epilepsy and frequency of seizure,TCM syndrome score and safety index including routine blood test and liver function test of two groups before and after treatment.All data were input by using Excel,SPSS17.0 software system for statistics.Count data using Chi square test,measurement data using T test,with a mean standard deviation(S)said;measurement data that do not conform to normality and rank data using rank sum test.Measurement data were compared between the groups using an independent samples T test,group before and after treatment were compared by paired samples T test.P < 0.05 for the difference had statistical significance.Results: The treatment group and the control group dropped out of 1 cases,and the two groups finally completed 30 cases each.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%,the total effective rate of the control group was 83.33%,the treatment group was better than the control group,and the two groups had statistical difference(P < 0.05).The scores of epilepsy,seizures and TCM syndromes were significantly improved in the treatment(P < 0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.There was significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in the reduction rate of epileptic seizures and the curative effect of TCM syndrome(P < 0.01).The control group during the treatment of individual patients with nausea,lethargy,fatigue and discomfort symptoms improved after symptomatic treatment,do not have a significant impact on the results,the two groups in blood routine,liver function safety observation index had no significant change.Conclusion: Combined with Yin-Nourishing and Wind-Extinguishing Granules,the treatment of Post-Stroke Late-onset Epilepsy of Liver-Kidney Yin Deficiency can reduce seizures,improve the clinical symptoms of patients,and have no obvious toxic and side effects,so it is safe and effective.It is worthy of clinical in-depth study and application popularly.
