Clinical Experience Of Professor Yang Yunkuan In The Treatment Of Senile Insomnia

Purpose: To summarize the clinical experience of Professor Yang Yunkuan in treating senile insomnia.Method : Method: Specific TCM diagnostic and treatment methods for senile insomnia were summarized and analyzed by gathering related patient data through a ten months clinical attachment to Professor Yang YunKuan.The treatment methods employed by Professor Yang included using internal herbal medicine as well as acupuncture and the theory and logic behind each treatment were analyzed.A randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted to empirically evaluate the efficacy of the treatment methods.Result:(1)Professor Yang Yunkuan believes that the deficiency of kidney essence is the basic pathology of senile insomnia,and that the Yang is not the Yin is the core pathological mechanism of senile insomnia.(2)On this basis,summed up the "basic + three type syndrome" diagnosis and treatment of senile insomnia,that is,the underlying type,difficult to sleep,sleep easily wake up,stomach discord,restless type.(3)Good at using classical prescription and innovating method,paying attention to the principle of nourishing yin and suppressing yang,and taking into account the principle of tonifying liver,strengthening heart,strengthening spleen and stomach,internal and external complementary acupuncture and prescription prescription.(4)The clinical efficacy of "basic + three type syndrome differentiation" in the diagnosis and treatment of senile insomnia is superior to that of conventional acupuncture.It can effectively improve the quality of sleep and reduce the clinical symptoms.Conclusion: On the basis of acupuncture "Four Seas acupuncture point" and "basic +three type syndrome differentiation",Yin Yin,Yang Yang,tonifying liver,strengthening heart,strengthening spleen and stomach,acupuncture and medicine treatment of senile insomnia,the clinical efficacy is better than conventional acupuncture,it is worth further promotion.
