Clinical Study Of The Tranquilization,tonifying Kidney And Smoothing The Liver Acupuncture On Promoting Follicular Development And High Qualified Embryo Formation In Patients With IVF During Controlled Ovulation Hyperstimulation

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical curative efficacy of tranquilization,tonifying kidney and moothing liver acupuncture treatment in the aspect of promoting the follicle development and optimal embryo formation in the period of controlled ovarian hyperstimulation.MethodThis was a randomized clinical trial in which 66 kidney deficiency and liver depression patients from IVF were randomly assigned to treatment group and control group.The both groups were treated by the improved ovulation induction scheme on the ovarian hyperstimulation day.The patients at the treatment group were received the tranquilization and tonifying kidney acupuncture treatment once a day until the HCG day,while the control group were not.After then,they would be received the oocyte pick-up and the external fertilization according the IVF scheme.The scores of the kidney deficiency and liver depression syndrome scale,the days of ovarian hyperstimulation,the total numbers of follicles,the average diameters of follicles,the daily diameters growth rate of follicles would be assessed on hCG day,while fertility rate on the first day after oocyte pick-up,the high quality embryo rate on the third day after oocyte pick-up,the high quality blastocyst rate and the numbers of frozen embryos on the sixth day after oocyte pick-up.Result(1)Paticipants characteristics analysis at baseline:the paticipants characteristics were not statistically different between two groups at baseline,they were comparable(p>0.05).(2)Intra-group comparison:(1)The scores of kidney deficiency and liver depression syndrome showed a significant decrease in treatment group after treatment(P=0.022),while an apparent increase in control group(P=0.004).(2)The total numbers of follicles increased significantly in treatment group aftertreatment(P=0.006),and also in control group(P=0.004).(3)Inter-group comparison:(1)The scores of kidney deficiency and liver depression syndrome changed significantly after treatment between two groups(P=0.000).(2)The days needed of ovarian hyperstimulation also varied significantly(P=0.048).(3)There were no obvious difference of average diameters of follicles on hCG day between two groups(P>0.05).(4)The daily diameters growth rate of follicles differed significantly between two groups(P=0.024).(5)There were no significant difference of the total numbers of follicles on hCG day(P>0.05).(6)There were no significant difference of the fertilization rate(P>0.05).(7)The high quality embryo rate also differed significantly(P=0.002).(8)The high quality blastocyst rate were not statistically different(P>0.05).(9)Neither the numbers of frozen embryos of two group failed to differed significantly(P>0.05).ConclusionTranquilization,tonifying kidney and moothing liver acupuncture can obviously improve the symptoms of kidney deficiency and liver stagnation points,shorten the duration of ovulation-promotion,promote the daily diameters growth rate of follicles,help follicular to develop and be mature faster,and also can significantly increase the high qualified embryo rate.It suggests that acupuncture therapy assisting IVF to accelerate the follicular development and high qualified embryo formation has the exact,safe and effective.It is benefit for clinical application and promotion.
