Objective:1.We grasped the prevalence of oral hygiene, dental caries, and gingivitis among children in Datong District,Xinfu District of Xinzhou,Pingyao County of Jinzhong,Wenxi County of Yuncheng.2.To study the influence factors of dental caries and gingivitis among children aged 3-5 and above in four counties.3.To provide a theoretical basis for the implementation of the Shanxi health oral 2030 program and the mid and long-term plan for chronic diseases, and provide scientific basis for relevant departments to formulate oral health policies. Methods:Refer to the sampling plan of the Fourth National Oral Health Epidemiology Survey of the Large-scale Public Welfare Research Project of the National Health and Sanitation Committee Science and Education Division,we adopted the method of stratification, equal capacity, and random sampling to collect 1296 children aged 3-5 years in Datong City and Xinfu District of Xinzhou,Pingyao County of Jinzhong City,Wenxi County of Yuncheng City.Three kindergartens were selected from each region. Each kindergarten randomly selected 36 children aged 3,4 and 5,and half of the boys and girls.According to the diagnostic criteria for oral health examination issued by the National Health and Nutrition Committee, the CPI probe, oral mirror with light, and portable dental chair are used to examine the dental crown and gingival health of children's.Through face-to-face interviews with children's parents by oral questionnaires,we understood children's oral hygiene habits, eating habits, parental oral health care knowledge and attitudes, and so on.A provincial database was established, and data entry was performed using the double entry format, and statistical analysis was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 software.Chi-square test,Wilcoxon rank sum test,Kruskal-Wallis H test, logistic regression analysis, and chi-square correlation analysis were used for statistical analysis. Results:The total dental plaque of 1296 children was 1.38,the rate of caries was 56.3%,the dmft was 2.67,and the prevalence of gingivitis was 23.4%.The prevalence of caries and gingivitis was not statistically different between men and women(P>0.05),there was a difference between the regions and urban and rural areas(P<0.001),and the city was higher than the rural(P<0.001),and there was a difference between the different age groups(P<0.001).Only 13.5%of children who had experienced dental clinic in one year. The results of single factor analysis showed that the prevalence of dental caries in children was related to dental plaque, feeding mode, frequency of eating dessert before bedtime, the habit of brushing teeth, physical health, and the frequency of parents'assisting children to brush their teeth. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.005).The prevalence of gingivitis in children was related to the situation of dental plaque, the frequency of eating dessert before bedtime, the habit of brushing teeth, the health status of the body, and the frequency of parents' assisting the children to brush their teeth. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.005).The two classified Logistic regression analysis showed that the factors affecting the prevalence of dental caries in children were oral hygiene, age, regional factors, urban and rural differences, children's general health status, and the frequency of dessert before bedtime. The factors affecting the prevalence of gingivitis in children were oral hygiene the frequency of children, eating sweets before bedtime, and frequency of parental assistance for children to brush their teeth. The chi square correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between the prevalence of dental caries and the prevalence of gingivitis in children(?=0.278.P<0.001).Conclusion:1.Oral health checklist can be seen:1.1 The oral hygiene condition of the children was poor, dental plaque was common around the teeth, and oral hygiene should be further strengthened.1.2 The prevalence rate of dental caries in children was higher, the filling rate was lower, and the incidence trend of younger age was higher.1.3 Gingivitis is reported in nearly 1/3 children. It shows that the incidence of gingivitis is also younger. We should begin to pay attention to the gum health of young children.2,The results of oral questionnaire survey showed:2.1 The oral health knowledge/attitude of the parents of the children under examination has not been transformed into action. The parents' awareness of oral health care should be further promoted and the rate of medical treatment for children's oral diseases should be improved.2.2 Medical personnel should strengthen the promotion of appropriate techniques for prevention and treatment of oral diseases such as pit and fissure sealant, fluoride prevention and caries prevention, and strengthen people's understanding of oral health care measures.2.3 The whole body health and oral health are mutually causation. We should establish the whole body health record including oral cavity so as to realize the whole life cycle management of oral and whole body health.2.4 In order to improve the oral health awareness of the whole society, the oral health awareness of the people in the whole society should be promoted by the government, the medical staff, the parents, the teachers and the whole society.
