Objective:Our study is to detect the expression of nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferases(NAMPT)in primary patients with multiple myeloma(MM),and to analyze the relationship between clinical stages,classification and prognosis,further to explore its clinical significance,and then to evaluate the prognosis of patients with MM and to provide new way of treatment.Methods:1.A total of 49 cases of multiple myeloma patients were diagnosed in the department of hematology of the Second hospital of shanxi medical university from June 2016 to August 2017,including bone marrow morphology test,serum protein electrophoresis,etc.A control group of 30 cases who were diagnosed with anemia(no immune system,malignant tumor,infectious disease history)and healthy donors.2.The expression levels of NAMPT in the bone marrow and peripheral blood of 49 patients with MM and 30 healthy controls were determined by Enzyme-linked immune sorbent assay(ELISA).Results:1.The expression levels of NAMPT in MM patients was significantly higher than the control group both in bone marrow and peripheral blood(P<0.05).2.The NAMPT level in bone marrow and peripheral blood of MM patients increased with the ISS stage increased,but there was no significant difference between each period(P>0.05).Between each type also showed no significant difference(P>0.05).3.The expression levels of NAMPT in bone marrow and peripheral blood were significantly correlated and much higher in the peripheral blood.Conclusion:1.The abnormal expression of NAMPT was correlated with the occurrence,development of MM,so the high expression of NAMPT may be a poor prognosis index for multiple myeloma.2.The expression level of NAMPT in MM patient's bone marrow and peripheral blood has no obvious correlation with clinical stages,classification of MM,but the NAMPT expression level increased as the ISS stage showed a trend of increase,and also have certain differences between different types.it indicates that the NAMPT expression may be closely related with the occurrence and development of MM,which may have important significance in evaluating the prognosis of MM,further to guide the clinical treatment and provide accurate ideas and new methods.3.The deficiency of this study is that the sample size is small,the follow-up time is short,and the study of large sample and some basic research are needed to confirm it,and I will further improve it in the future research.
