The Impact Of Electro-acupuncture On The Change Of Brain FMRI Under The Go/No-go Task In PIU Patients

Objective:This study applied the electro-acupuncture to treat the patients with Pathological Internet Use(PIU),and through the change in patient5 s functional Magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)under the Go/No-go task state,to discuss the different effects of electro-acupuncture on the cerebral function of PIU patient.It was aimed to investigate the electro-acupuncture neurobiological mechanism of PIU.Method:32 cases of PIU patient were randomly divided into two groups,who were respectively treated with electro-acupuncture and psychotherapy,another 16 cases of healthy subject were set as control group,the change in subject's functional Magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)under the Go/No-go task state before and after treatment had been observed and undergone a correlation analysis,the difference of subjects and healthy group before and after the treatment had been observed.Result:1.The score of YIAT shows that electro-acupuncture treatment and psychological intervention had effect to reduce the scores of PIU.2.Go/No-go task results show that there is no significant difference between the ACC of PIU patients with normal,and the electro-acupuncture group and the psychological group before and after the treatment,the correct rate of no significant difference;the RT of task is significantly lower than normal group,but before and after treatment there was no significant difference.3.It was shown by the fMRI result that,electro-acupuncture and psychological had effect on prefrontal cortex,anterior cingulate gyrus,cingulate gyrus,hippocampus and cerebellum.4.Compared with psychological,electro-acupuncture could better improve the connection of SN.Conclusion:1.The score of YIAT shows that electro-acupuncture treatment and psychological had obvious effect on PIU.2.PIU patients have higher impulse response and less ability to control themselves,but there is a few effect of electro-acupuncture on PIU patients with impulse response,task execution ability.This may be related to a short course of treatment,which is not effective to change the cumulative execution ability.3.It was shown by the fMRI result that,electro-acupuncture has a few effect on PIU patient executive ability,but the effect on cognitive ability,emotional processing,attention system and decision-making are more obvious,the neurobiological mechanisms may be related with the default mode network and salience network.4.Acupuncture treatment compared to psychological therapy can better improve the brain function network connectivity of PIU patients.
