A Research On Supply Chain Management Of Medical Consumables For Y Hospital

With the continuous development of medical technology,the application of medical consumables in the clinical diagnosis and treatment process becomes wider and wider,the usage of medical consumables increase rapidly,medical consumables management has become a key point of modern hospital management.Supply chain is the circulation process of goods or services from producer to consumer.The purpose of supply chain management is to optimize the whole circulation process.Optimizing the hospital circulation process by using supply chain management theory has a great significance of reducing the hospital operating cost.Taking a public hospital as the research object,this paper studies the internal supply chain of medical consumables.From the perspective of supplier management,procurement management and information system management,the study focus on optimizing the process of hospital consumables circulation and ensuring the hospital consumables at best cost,achieving a goal of the whole process,transparency and traceability management of hospital medical consumables.analyses the management status of medical consumables management,proposes the defects of medical consumables management combined with specific cases,the causes of defects and optimization recommendations based on supply chain management Theory and logistics management theory.The study on the management experience of medical consumables in developed countries can be used as reference for the management of medical consumables in China.Secondly,the related concepts of public hospitals and medical consumables are expounded,and the theory of supply chain management are studied.Then,taking Y hospital as an example,this paper analyzes the status of medical consumables management in Y hospital through field investigation method and focused interview method,finds out the defects of Y hospital in medical consumables management and analyzes the causes of defects by using relevant theories.Finally,based on the theory and practice,this paper puts forward some suggestions on improving the current situation of medical consumables management in Y hospital and evaluates the effect of implementation.
