Expression Of YAP And Survivin And Their Significances In Colorectal Cancer

Objectives: To investigate the expression of YAP(Yes-associated-protein)and Survivin in human colorectal cancer and normal colorectal mucosa specimens,and explore their correlation and clinical pathological feature in human colorectal cancer.Methods: Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of YAP and Survivin in 65 cases of colorectal cancer tissues and 20 cases of normal tissues and to analyze the association of YAP and Survivin expression with the clinicopathological features of colorectal cancer.Results: 1.The results of immunohistochemistry demonstrated that the YAP protein positive expression rate(63.08%)in colorectal cancer was significantly higher than those in normal tissues(10%),P<0.05.2.The expression of YAP in colorectal cancer was related with the differentiation and TNM stage and lymphatic metastasis(P<0.05).3.The results of immunohistochemistry demonstrated that the Survivin protein positive expression rate(60%)in colorectal cancer was significantly higher than those in normal tissues(15%),P<0.05.4.The expression of Survivin in colorectal cancer was related with the differentiation and TNM stage and lymphatic metastasis(P<0.05).5.The expression of YAP and Survivin were significantly positive correlated(r=0.351,p<0.05).Conclusions:1.The positive expression rates of YAP expression in human colorectal cancer was significantly higher than that in normol tissues;The expression of YAP protein may be related to the development,metastasis and invasion of human colorectal cancer,and synergistic effects may take parts in the formation and development in human colorectal cancer.2.The positive expression rates of Survivin expression in human colorectal cancer was significantly higher than that in normol tissues;The expression of Survivin protein may be related to the development,metastasis and invasion of human colorectal cancer,and synergistic effects may take parts in the formation and development in human colorectal cancer.3.The expression of YAP and survivin in human colorectal cancer was posivitly correlated.YAP may induce the expression of survivin.
