Clinical Observation Of Gan Lu Yin Jia Jian Prescription With Polyethylene Glycol Eye Drops To Treat Dry Eye(Syndrome Of Yin Deficiency Of Liver And Kidney)

Objective: Our aim is to observe the clinical effects,the incidence of adverse reaction,recent recurrence rate about Gan Lu Yin Jia Jian Prescription and polyethylene glycol eye drops,when we use this therapeutic method to cure dry eye(syndrome of yin deficiency of liver and kidney).We also discuss the etiology and pathogenesis of dry eye and the advantage of this therapeutic method.Method:According to the inclusive criteria,the research divided the patients who were selected from affiliated hospital outpatient clinics of Chengdu university of TCM into two groups,both of whom suffer from dry eye.The patients were grouped according to randomization.A total of 60 patients participate in the research.Both the treatment group and the control group have 30 patients.We use the polyethylene glycol eye drops to cure the patients of control group.At the same time,we use Gan Lu Yin Jia Jian Prescription and polyethylene glycol eye drops to cure the other group.The course of treatment is four weeks.During the course,we compare and analyse the total symptom score,single symptom score,TBUT,SIt,FL score,the incidence of adverse of event,recurrence rate.Results:(1)The clinical effective rate in the treatment group was 76.67% and the control group was 46.67%.The differences have statistical significance between these groups(P<0.05).(2)In the treatment group,the total score of eye symptoms and the single score of eye symptom after treatment are different from those before treatment.The differences have statistical significance(P<0.05).Similarly,in the control group,the total score of eye symptoms and the single score of eye symptom after treatment are different from those before the treatment.The differences have statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment,the total score of eye symptoms and the single score of eye symptom in the treatment group are different from those in the control group.The differenceshave statistical significance between these groups(P<0.05).And the symptoms score in the trial group was lower than which of the control group.The difference has statistical significance between these groups(P<0.05).(3)In the treatment group,TBUT and the SIt score after treatment are different from those before treatment.The differences have statistical significance(P<0.05).The FL score after treatment is different from that before treatment.The difference has no statistical significance(P>0.05).In the control group,TBUT and the SIt score after treatment are different from those before treatment.The differences have statistical significance(P<0.05).The FL score after treatment is different from that before treatment.The difference has no statistical significance(P>0.05).TBUT and the SIt score in the treatment group was better than which of the control group.The differences have statistical significance between these groups(P<0.05).TBUT and the SIt score in treatment were lower than which of the control group.The differences have statistical significance between these groups(P<0.05).(4)After 4 weeks,the recurrence rate was 26.09% in treatment and 57.14% in control.The differences have statistical significance between these groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of Dry Eye Disease(Syndrome of Yin Deficiency of Liver and Kidney)by taking Gan Lu Yin Jia Jian Prescription and polyethylene glycol eye drops has a better efficacy to polyethylene glycol eye drops.
