Acquired neuromyotonia(aNMT),also known as Isaacs syndrome,is a relatively rare disease that originates from the peripheral nervous system and is often characterized by muscle twitch, pseudomyotonia, muscle spasm, and autonomic nervous symptoms such as hyperhidrosis and tachycardia are the main manifestations. The pathogenesis include immune-related,paraneoplastic,radiation injury and unexplained.Current clinical studies have shown that antiepileptic drugs may be effective, but the treatment effect of different forms of onset may be related to different treatments.Due to the current lack of understanding of this disease in clinical practice, this article aims to summarize the etiopathogenesis, clinical manifestations and treatment progress of acquired neuromyotonia in conjunction with the latest research reports. |
