Objective:Evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of the highly transparent Upcera TT zirconia prostheses with digital impression in the short-term follow-up,in order to support the clinical application and of the new material.Method:48 Patients with a total of 102 teeth were selected and randomly divided into two groups,restored with Upcera TT or traditional zirconia.The clinical operation and intraoral digital scanning were carried out by the same doctor.And the CAD/CAM part were also completed by one technician.Each patient was followed up for 12 months and evaluated by two other doctors at double blinded according to the modified United States Public Health Service and Ryge standards?Finally,let the patients fill in the satisfaction questionnaires.Results:None significant difference of these standards but aesthetic evaluation was found between the two groups.The satisfaction rate of the TT zirconia group was 95.7%,higher than that of the traditional zirconia group,88.0%.Conclusion:Highly transparent full-contour zirconia restorations performed well in the clinical trial,and attained good patient satisfaction,especially for the space limited case.
