Objective:To discuss the application of 25 MHz panoramic ultrasound biomicroscopy in the age-related cataract complicated with lens dislocation. Methods:A total of 176 age-related cataract patients(200 eyes)were include in this study From December 2016 to December 2017.Patient ages ranged from 44 to 95 years,(mean±SD:66.9±11.83 years).Different cross sectional images of the subluxated lens were collected to compare and analyze the image characteristics, the distance between equator and cliary process, and the rate of detection using 25 MHz UBM and 50 MHz UBM in axial and longitudinal scanning modes, respectively.SPSS 24.0 for Windows, paired t-test and chi-square test were used for data analysis, and a value of p <0.05 was considered statistically significant.Result:In the overall 200 eyes,Intraoperative diagnosis of incomplete dislocation of lens in 15 eyes,Before operation,8 eyes were detected by 50 MHz UBM and 15 eyes were detected by 25 MHz UBM.The diagnosis of presence of subluxated lens useing UBM was made mainly based on the different of the distance between lens equator and the ciliary process in every direction. The most significant distance of the dislocation was the largest, the other side was the smallest. The radians of the equatorial part of the lens on the dislocation side increased and the contralateral side decreased.25 MHz UBM showed the feature of subluxated lens more intuitively and clearly than 50 MHz UBM in axial section. The means of the subluxated lens parameters obtained using 50 MHz and 25 MHz UBM were at follows:the maximum distance between lens equator and the ciliary process were 2.25±0.49 mm and 2.46±0.51 mm,respectively;the minimum distance between lens equator and the ciliary process were 0.99±0.25 mm and 0.78±0.30 mm,respectively;D-Valua of maximum and minimum were 1.26±0.50 mm and 1.61±0.56 mm,respectively.Ratio interval of maximum and minimum were 1.9-5.79.A statistically significant difference was found between the results obtained with 50 MHz UBM and those obtained with 25 MHz UBM.Conclusion:25MHz UBM has a great diagnostic value on presence of subluxated lens,it can provide reliable evidence for clinical.
