Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect difference of Qingzao decoction combined with western medicine and Western medicine alone in the treatment of Guillain Barre syndrome(lung heat water injury type).To explore Chinese medicine for effective improvement in patients with Guillain-Barre syndrome symptoms,in order to play a guidance for clinical treatment.Methods: In accordance with the standards established in this research programme,choose The First Affiliated Hospital of Henan TCM University and Suixian Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine inpatients diagnosed as lung heat water injury type of Guillain-Barre syndrome patients.A total of 60 cases were collected and randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,each with 30 cases.The control group was given immunoglobulin and symptomatic treatment.On the basis of the treatment in the control group,the treatment group was given the Qingzao Decoction in accordance with the specific conditions of the patients.14 days for a course of treatment,observe 2 courses.Before and after treatment,the limb muscle strength,modified daily living ability(Barthel index)and TCM syndrome score were scored respectively.The scores were evaluated by SPSS22.0 software,and the clinical efficacy was evaluated.Before and after treatment,blood routine test,urine routine,liver function and renal function were tested to evaluate the safety of medication.Results: After treatment,the muscle strength of the extremities in the two groups was enhanced(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference between the two treatments in improving limb muscle strength.The two treatment methods could improve the Barthel index score of patients(P < 0.05),but the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant.The two treatment methods can reduce the TCM syndrome scores of the patients,and the treatment group is better than the control group.The clinical efficacy of Western medicine was tested by rank sum test,P < 0.05,which showed that the effect of Qingzao Decoction combined with western medicine was better than western medicine in treating this disease.The curative effect evaluation data of TCM syndromes were ranked by rank sum test(P < 0.05),indicating that the effect of Qingzao Decoction combined with western medicine in improving TCM Syndromes of GBS patients is better than that of Western medicine alone.Conclusion: The Qingzao Decoction combined with western medicine group and simple western medicine group can both improve limb muscle strength,activities of daily living and TCM syndrome scores of the patients.The combination of Qingzao Decoction and Western medicine group was superior to the western medicine group in improving the TCM syndrome scores.The clinical curative effect of Qingzao Decoction combined with Western medicine group was better than that of western medicine group.There was no adverse reaction in the process of treating this disease with the combination of Qingzao Decoction and Western medicine.
