Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of three acupuncture treatments for active rheumatoid arthritis, determine the therapeutic effect of three acupuncture methods on active rheumatoid arthritis, and provide new and effective treatment for active RA with three acupuncture methods Therapeutic methods. Methods: The 60 patients with active rheumatoid arthritis were randomly divided into 30 in the experimental group and 30 in the control group. The control group was treated with methotrexate tablets combined with diclofenac sodium sustained-release capsules;the experimental group was given methotrexate combined with three acupuncture treatments;the test period was 6 week.Observe the disease efficacy indicators before and after treatment(joint tenderness number, joint swelling number, joint pain VAS score, patient VAS score, doctor's VAS score,HAQ score,DAS28 score),quantitative scores of TCM syndromes,ESR,CRP,safety indicators and other changes, combined with statistical software for data analysis and comparison of the efficacy of the two groups. Results: 1.Comparison of efficacy of disease activity: the experimental group was markedly effective in 10 cases(33.33%),effective in 17 cases(56.67%),invalid in 3 cases(10%),the control group was markedly effective in 6 cases(20%),effective 19 cases(63.33%),invalid 5 cases(16.67%).There was no significant difference in disease activity between the two groups(P>0.05).Comparison of TCM syndromes: syndromes: the total efficiency of the experimental group was 90 %,the total efficiency of the control group was 70 %.The efficacy of TCM syndromes in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05).2.There were significant differences in the efficacy indicators,ESR,and CRP between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05);the two groups after treatment, there were statistically significant differences(P<0.05)in the number of joint tenderness, joint swelling, joint pain VAS score, patient VAS score, doctor's VAS score,HAQ score,DAS28 score, there was no significant difference in ESR and CRP(P>0.05).3.The scores of TCM syndromes after treatment in both groups were compared with those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The two groups in the degree of joint pain, degree of swelling, tenderness, morning stiffness, adverse flexion and extension, redness, fever, and thirst between the two groups, there was significant difference(P<0.05).4.Safety evaluation: There was no abnormality in blood routine, urine routine, and renal function before and after treatment in both groups. The incidence of adverse reactions in both groups was 0% in the experimental group and 20% in the control group. There was a significant difference in the occurrence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.Three acupuncture combined with methotrexate tablets and methotrexate tablets combined with diclofenac sodium sustained-release capsules have obvious curative effect in the treatment of active RA.The two groups have similar efficacy in improving the disease activity of RA patients; The curative effect of TCM syndrome of three acupuncture methods combined with methotrexate tablets have better efficacy than that of methotrexate tablets combined with diclofenac sodium sustained-release capsules.2.Three acupuncture combined with methotrexate tablets treatment of active RA in the improvement of the main efficacy indicators(joint tenderness, joint swelling, joint pain VAS score, patient VAS score, doctor's VAS score,HAQ score,DAS28 score),and TCM syndrome curative effect index(joint pain, degree of swelling,The degree of tenderness, morning stiffness, unfavorable flexion and extension, redness, fever, and thirst)is better than methotrexate tablets combined with diclofenac sodium sustained-release capsules.3.Three acupuncture combined with methotrexate tablets treatment of active RA,can reduce the incidence of gastrointestinal symptoms in patients, safety is better than methotrexate tablets combined with diclofenac sodium sustained-release capsules.
