Objective: Detecting the expression level of micro RNA-6087 in serum and tissues of lung cancer patients,and analyzing its significance in the diagnosis of lung cancer and its role in evaluating prognosis,providing clinically valuable markers for the diagnosis and prognosis of patients with lung cancer.Methods: From August 2015 to August 2017,the serum of 44 patients with lung cancer were collected from the Nan hua Hospital of University of South China and the Second Xiang Ya Hospital of Central South University.During the same period,24 healthy individuals were collected.Serum samples from healthy individuals were from the physical examination center of Nan hua Hospital of University of South China.In addition,from January 2017 to June 2017,30 cases of lung cancer patients were collected from the Xiang Ya Hospital of Central South University for cancer tissues and its adjacent tissues.Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR was used to detect the expression levels of mi RNA-6087 in 44 cases of lung cancer patients,24 cases of healthy human serum,30 cases of lung cancer tissues and their adjacent normal tissues,and analyze its correlation with clinical pathological features.Result: 1.The expression levels of mi RNA-6087 in serum and tissues of patients with lung cancer(?CT in the serum was 5.08±2.49,?CT in the tissue was 2.59±2.21)were respectively significantly higher than those in the control group(?CT in the serum was 3.23±1.45,?CT in the tissue was 1.05±1.43),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.In serum,the expression of mi RNA-6087 was statistically different from lymph node metastasis(P<0.05),it is no statistically difference in gender,age,smoking,pathological type,TNM stage,the level of CEA and tumor size(P>0.05).In tissue,the expression of mi RNA-6087 is no statistically difference in tumor size,gender,pathological type,TNM stage,lymph node metastasis,smoking and age(P>0.05).3.The area of the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)of mi RNA-6087 in serum was 0.751,95%IC=0.636~0.867.When the optimal cut-off value for mi RNA-6087 in serum was 0.580,the sensitivity for diagnosis of lung cancer was 70.5% and the specificity was 87.5%.The area under the ROC curve according to the mi RNA-6087 expression in the tissue was 0.706,95%IC=0.573~0.839.When the optimal diagnostic threshold is 0.4,the sensitivity to the diagnosis of lung cancer is 53.3% and the specificity is 86.7%.4.Kaplan-Meier analysis confirmed that the survival time of lung cancer patients with high expression of mi RNA-6087 was significantly lower than that of patients with low expression of mi RNA-6087,both two groups difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Mi RNA-6087 could be used as a potential molecular marker for the diagnosis of lung cancer,it has certain clinical significance.The expression of mi RNA-6087 in serum of patients with lung cancer can be detected and the prognosis of lung cancer patients can be predicted.
