The Clinical Observation On Thumb Massage Combined With Herb Fomentation Therapy Of Shoulder And Neck Parenchyma Injuries

The literature discusses,theoretical and clinical test are discussed level by level depth in this paper,and it also have a systemic research about traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine treatment of shoulder and neck soft tissue injuries.The first part of this paper are introduction,literature review and theoretical disc ussion.At he first,it expounded its pathogenies,pathology and effect on patients from the perspective of Western medicine,epidemiology study pointed out that morbidity are increasing with social change,treatment of shoulder and neck soft tissue injuries should be taken seriously.Its primary etiology is accumulated injuries,pathogenesy is myofascial triggerpionts,MTrPs,pathology is a process of aseptic inflammation.Caus ing local tissue degeneration.The current major mode of treatment for foreign are ph ysiotherapy and medicine like Narcotics,non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,skeletal musclar ralaxants,Botulinum Toxin Type-A,Antidepressants,Corticosteroid,anticonvulsa nt and so on.At he second,it expounded its disease name,etiology,interpretation of th e case,syndrome differentiation,therapeutic principle and method of Traditional Chines e medicine.The paper pointed out that shoulder and neck soft tissue injuries are bel ong to “arthragia syndrome”and “injury of tendon and mucle” in Traditional Ch inese Medicine,the cause of neck and shoulder soft tissue injuries related to various factors,including exogenous pathogenic factors and internal injuries:the main etiolog y are cold,wet tired,blood stasis and stagnation of qi,the main lesion of this disease derives from shoulder and neck,witch has close related with liver and spleen;in ess ence,shoulder and neck soft tissue injuries are deficiency-excess complex,the deficie ncy of spleen yang and blood stasis and stagnation of qi are the pathological basis;cold,wind and wetness are common causative factors;blood stasis and stagnation of qi are play a major role at the onset of shoulder and neck soft tissue injuries a nd they are also the results;according to different pathological features,reduce exces siveness and reinforce insufficiency is therapeutic principle;meanwhile,removing cold,replenishing spleen yang,activating blood circulation and clearing damp are therapeut ic method.Specific treatment methods include acupuncture therapy,manipulation,electro puncture,small needle knife therapy,physiotherapy.The second part mainly explains the test content,Methods and results,through th e clinical observation of curative effect on Thumb massage plus herbal Fomentation Treatment of Shoulder and neck soft tissue injuries,to explore the clinical significan ce of this treatment.The third part is the discussion section,mainly includes the analysis of clinical curative effect,and the theoretical basis of this treatment method statements,explore it s theory,indicate the lack of design and look forward to the future ObjectiveIn this study,patients who with soft tissue injuries of shoulder and nec k as the research object,study on the thumb massage combined with herbal Fomentation on the basis of the clinical effect of the intervention,Aimed at:(1)explore the safety and efficiency of Thumb massage plus herbal Fomentation Tre atment of Shoulder and neck soft tissue injuries;(2)prove the curative effect of thum b massage combined with herbal Fomentation is better than thumb massage thr ough the contrast of fomentation group and control group;(3)design treatment regime nts for Thumb massage plus herbal Fomentation Treatment of Shoulder and neck so ft tissue injuries that scientific,eutherapeutic,easy to be accepted.MethodsAccording to the study design,70 qualified patients are divided at random into t wo groups,which is fomentation group and control group,and each of them has 35 c ases respectively,treating the patients among the fomentation group with the thumb massage combined with herbal fomentation treatment while treating the patients amo ng the control group with simple thumb massage therapy.Two groups of patients we re massaged the same points,such as soft tissue reaction points,the a-shi points,and pay attention to pregnant women and female in menstrual period,to avoid massage t heir Jianjing point;on that basis,patients among the fomentation group were treating combined with herbal fomentation,such as buck grass,Chinese starjasmine,erythrina bark,elder,notopterygium root;according to different types of syndromes aid the corre sponding herbal,cold syndrome plus star anise,damp syndrome plus radix clematidis,i n deep distress plus radix auklandiae.one times two day,three treatment a week,4 we eks for 1 course,record the illness score in week 0th,4th and 8th according to their magnitudes of pain,shoulders and neck range of motion,degree of muscle stiffness,s oft tissue reactions,and associated symptoms,compare score before and after treatme nt,Nimodipine Scoring Method was adopted to evaluate the curative effect,at the last,statistic and analysis.ResultsThe two groups patients of clinical observation results after treatment showed t hat the illness score are both lower than before treatment(P<0.01),which instructedthat those two kinds of therapy are effective;clinical rate of the fomentation group after treatment is± which is significantly lower than the observation group±;in th e aspect of safety,no untoward reaction were observed in two groups.ConclusionThe thumb massage therapy and the thumb massage combined with herbal fom entation treatment are both have good curative effect in shoulder and neck soft tissu e injuries;by comparison,the effect of thumb massage combined with herbal fomentat ion treatment is much better than the simple thumb massage therapy.Therefore,the th umb massage combined with herbal fomentation treatment has its unique full advant age,safe and effective,worthy of popularization and application.
