ObjectiveThe abdominal acupuncture was used to treat moderate type II acne vulgaris.TCM syndrome differentiation was a clinical study of spleen and damp heat acne.The Global Acne Grading System and TCM syndrome scores of were used to evaluate the curative effect,and the efficacy,skin lesion status and long-term curative effect were observed.For acupuncture treatment of acne provide a safe and effective,long-term effective,can be promoted characteristic therapy.MethodsFrom April 2017 to December 2017,94 patients suffering from acne vulgaris in the conventional therapy clinics and community open recruitment of Guangdong Provincial Chinese Medicine Hospital will be randomized to the abdominal acupuncture group and the general acupuncture group.Abdominal acupuncture group used abdomen acupuncture treatment,prescription: Tiandizhen,Shuifen,Tianshu,Daheng,Shangfengshidian,25 minutes each time,every other day,3 times a week,4 weeks for a course of treatment,treatment 1 One course of treatment.The acupuncture group used ordinary acupuncture treatment.Prescriptions: Yangbai,Quanliao,Dazhui,Hegu,Quchi,Neiting,Zusanli,Sanyinjiao,Yinlingquan,25 minutes each time,every other day,3 times per week,4 weeks for 1 course of treatment,1 course of treatment.Before and after 2 weeks of treatment,after 4 weeks of treatment and 12 weeks after the end of treatment,the skin lesions of patients and the evaluation of TCM clinical symptoms were evaluated using the acne skin lesions score and TCM syndrome scores.After 4 weeks of treatment,the two groups of patients were evaluated.The overall efficacy was 12 weeks after the end of treatment to assess the long-term effect of both groups.Results1.There was no significant difference in age,gender,course of disease,pre-treatment GAGS and TCM syndrome scores between the abdominal acupuncture group and the conventional acupuncture group(P >0.05),and the clinical data were comparable.2.After 2 weeks of treatment,GAGS and TCM syndrome scores were improved in both groups before treatment(P <0.05).Abdominal acupuncture group had significantly better curative effect than that of Puzheng group(P<0.05).3.After 4 weeks of treatment,GAGS and TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were significantly improved(P <0.05).Abdominal acupuncture group was better than conventional acupuncture group(P <0.05),abdominal acupuncture group,and conventional acupuncture group.The total effective rate was 97.67% and 93.02%,respectively.Abdominal acupuncture group was superior to conventional acupuncture group(P <0.05).4.After 12 weeks of treatment,the two groups of patients were followed up.The scores of acne lesions and TCM syndromes in both groups increased at the end of the course of treatment(P < 0.05),but the increase of abdominal acupuncture group was lower than that of the group of conventional acupuncture(P <0.05).ConclusionAbdominal acupuncture treatment of spleen-stomach damp-heat type acne is more effective than conventional acupuncture,with better efficacy and better long-term results.Abdominal acupuncture has the clinical characteristics of standardized prescriptions,standardized operations,and standardized syndromes.Effective,scalable specialty treatment.
