ObjectiveIn order to describe current treatment of asthma patients, and explore the related factors of Influencing asthma control level, the study do research on the long term follow-up asthmatic outpatients. So as to provide reference for the clinical intervention of asthma.Research methodsThe cross-sectional study was used to analyze the 105 cases from October2017 to January 2018,We collected data on the gender, age, family history, allergic history, history of allergen exposure, body mass index, smoking history, complications,as well as the medical treatment of asthmatic patients, who visited respiratory clinic of Guangdong Provincial TCM Hospital. It was established a database and made statistical analysis of data.It was described the current treatment of asthma patients, who were divided into two groups according the level of asthma control and whether there was an acute attack in the past year.Individual factor analysis was conduct, and statistical analysis methods such as rank sum test,ANOVA,t-test,and chi-square test and logistic regression analysis were used in the study.Research resultsThere were 105 asthma patients aged 25-83 years old were investigated totally,of whom 61.9% were female. The whole patients had medical history of1 to 50 years,of whom had longest follow-up time was 30 years and the shortest was 1 years. The patients who had allergic history accounted for 63.8%,and 42.9%of patients with asthma combined allergic rhinitis.Only taking western medicine in 20 cases, accounted for 19%,the remaining 81% were treated with combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine.98.1percent of asthma patients used inhalation therapy,of which 77.1 percent used regularly. In addition,62.9% of patients took oral medications. The main TCMsyndrome was the lung deficiency syndrome, accounting for 35.2%,followed by lung and spleen deficiency syndrome(24.8%).Meanwhile,according to the recognition of TCM constitution, the specific endowment constitution was at most 34.3%.In the study, the whole patients had longest follow-up time was 10 years and the shortest was 1 years,of whom had medical history of 1 to 50 years.According to the grading standard for asthma control of GINA,57 people are well controlled, with a proportion of 54.3%,partial controlled and uncontrolled accounting for 21.9% and 23.8% respectively. There was 43.8% of asthmatic patients had acute attack in the last year, and without acute attack was 56.2%.The results suggest that the degree of education,follow-up time, whether it was induced asthma by allergen factor or non-allergenic factors and regular inhaled treatment did affect the ACT scores.Single factor analysis was conducted on the control level of asthma in patients, and the results indicated that the control level of asthma patients was statistically significant in the three aspects of cultural level, course of disease and regular inhalation therapy.Similarly, the related factors were whether the induced factor was clear and whether took traditional Chinese medicine, which affected whether there had been an acute asthma attack in the past year. The results of the non-conditional Logistic regression analysis suggested that a pattern inhalation was the main factor in the level of asthma control. The improvement of FEV1 was related to age, disease duration and follow-up time, and the difference was statistically significant,With the increase of age, duration of disease and follow-up time, the improvement of FEV1 was not obvious..And the improvement of PEF was related to age and smoking, and the difference was statistically significant. In addition to the increase in age, smoking also limits the improvement of PEF.Conclusion:The ACT scores of long term follow-up of asthmatic outpatients had correlations with and the degree of education,follow-up time, whether asthma had been induced by allergenic factors, whether asthma was induced by non-allergenic factors, and regular inhalation therapy etc.The degree of education, course of disease and regular inhalation treatment of patients wereall factors affecting the level of asthma control. The main related factor of Influencing asthma control level was the regular inhalation treatment. It suggested that taking regular inhalation clinically was beneficial to the control of asthma; What's more, the improvement of FEV1 in asthma patients was associated with age, disease duration and follow-up time, and the improvement of PEF was related to age and smoking. The lung deficiency syndrome was the most common syndrome of asthmatic patients. The TCM constitution was common in special constitution and qi deficiency. It suggested that asthma treatment was mainly replenishing and restoring pulmonary qi which would strengthen the external functions and reduce acute attacks.
